Star Wars Legends would totally work. The Old Republic (the $200 million dollar sales bomb) is basically the same thing, except with voice acting throughout and lots more detail. It would be no worse than some of the cut-down GBA and Nintendo DS versions of big Star Wars games that have been released over the years.
If Lucas/Disney will license out Star Wars to Angry Birds, why not this? It would be nice to have some space battles though.
