Does an xp elixir affect your pet? And will double xp stack with elixirs for players and pets?

Pretty sure I saw somewhere that they said it didn't... dev comment would be great. I'd love to level up a lot of my pets this weekend.

I've been lvling pets with twinkers and I got combo elixir on and all I can say is that it's AT LEAST 2x exp if not more.
Quite fast to get pets to 16 with exp elixir on.
But it's such a hassle to to level these things... man i'd pay anything if pets were stashable

I also read that they do not affect pets as well. One of the devs posted.

Out of experience, I believe they do. My Flap Jack hit 16 at the same time my warrior did back in the 16 cap, I did use a few elixirs. I'm not sure if that's still the case now, but I assume so.

Well, can't argue with a dev post. Confuses me that my pet stayed even with me in level though o.O
meh, it doesnt realy matter for pet exp are low. i leveled my lvl15 pet to 20 and it only takes one WT4 run per level up.
