Lost Exp when disconnected

The title says it. Everytime I get disconnected at Tombs, I lost exp that I had gain. It's really annoying and such a waste of time.

By the way, playing Chrome on Windows 7.

Same here. Can be quite aggravating when you have a few streaks of getting disconnected.

It really is annoying specially when using exp elixer. And all elixir.. grrrr. 3x already. Maybe 6-7k worth of exp lost.. are pve also involved.? I didn't notice my pve .

Hey guys,

I'm sorry to hear that you feel you lost experience. After talking with the programming lead, we're at a loss as to explain it. Initial QA tests don't reproduce the issue. EXP and such are stored on the server, so client disconnection really doesn't have anything to do with it.

If anyone notices a consistent steps to reproduce this, like: "every time I do this, in this order, then my exp is lost" would be tremendously helpful to address such an issue.

1. Remember how much xp your toon has.
2. Join w4 run ( i have had most experience loss here )
3. Beat some bad guys ( your choice )
4. Lag out ( walk into a tunnel or somewhere with no signal )
5. Wait for ping nunber to go from 100 ish to 10,000 ish
6. Let it log you out
7. Run back to where there is signal
8. Log back in
9. Look at avatar
10. Look at xp, congratz you just lost your xp

Thanks. Looks like the QA team was able to reproduce a case of this issue. The programmers are looking into it.

Not only in w4. Same things happens in tombs of Kraag... well, basically it happens everywhere. And now that the level cap has been raised and once again we need XP, losing it is really frustrating. Ask your programming team where exactly they store that damn XP, I'd bet my tooth they store it in something that is deleted upon client disconnect without flushing to something more persistent :(

Ye you lose xp, but it still wastes your elexiers. It has happened since AL came out, so whenever i played made sure had full service or if i felt i was going to lag out i would leave the map myself to make sure i had my xp, would be very frustratin doin a whole 4 minute watchers 4 run an you lose all the elxier and xp. Glad u can finally fix it

Accidentally posted somewhere else hehe whoops. ANYWAY i also have this exact problem, but also I'm finding that im leveling at about half the rate that I gained originally before I was dced. anyone else have this problem? im level 22 and I asked others. FOR EXAMPLE, i get about 200 xp per round in watchers, but others get 400 without elixirs. others WITH elixirs get about 600..

It's not just lag or disconnect, it can happen if you don't leave the tombs through the doorway (IE you leave via world map).

At this point we believe we've fixed the places where experience loss can happen. Please let us know if you continue to have any problems with this.
