View Full Version : Elite mode for warriors is insane after update!

What do you guys use? I've already put all into str and armor passive, going in at 950-1100armor, tank mode and I still can't get past the mini hoard on jarl map to farm! Even with backup it's next to impossible!

i'm on 26 and so the others in the party with full STR and whatsoever but still getting longer than ever to finish the jarl!

Yeah I'm level 25, but I don't see level 26 being much better! There's a reason why malison went over 100k! It would take at least 1000 gold just to finish the rooks boss on potions! The sad thing is that I see the sorc and rogues not using much potions! Tanks are going to cost a pretty penny to keep playing. I don't see anything that would help us out currently. Feels like a money pit. Do you know if creating a second character gets to keep all our current pets?

Accounts are separated, no pets are transferred. You can stash to transfer items

I have done elite jarl runs, your spec and gear are fine. What matters is having a balanced team. One of each class and rouge for speed, side note spam health potions when needed.

I don't have to spam potions on my war just my heals to keep my team alive but it's still 3-4min kills...

When running elite maps with my rogue, I'm downing lots of pots too to maximize my damage, kill faster, and to help my tank minimize his pot usage. Tell the people you run with not to be so stingy with the mana pots!

For me, I like to party with a Sorcerer with a mana regen Life Giver skill. :orange:

A quick question to those already in Elite (haven't got the chance to really grind yet),
Is it better to continue farming elite Jarl? Or is Kraken elite better?

I think the new maps are better for getting awesome 26 end game items and jarl is only good for getting lvl 25 gear.

No chance of getting mythic/arcane from Jarl, those are the REALLY high price items . Jarl is easier though, takes longer than before but a normal pug can do it in 5 minutes or so.
I'd think farming the elite ship would be good but you gotta kill all the mobs to get to the boss. Soloing it is pretty much impossible, at least for my 25 warrior (350str/177dps/155dmg/919armor/3800hp) - can't spam potions fast enough to eat the damage for having all those mobs attacking.

I feel like devs are looking for our money outright now. Elite is insanely hard, which means less change to get good items from there, then we have to use plats to open Locked grand crate of the watch. And only one daily quest from new map. Not much gold added too.
I mean, it is sad.

There will be an update tomorrow, changing elite wait till then and find out for yourself. I figure that maps with the lowest completion time would be the easiest, worked for me so far.
