If I stack a 7 day exp elixer with a 15 min one, would it be x4 exp?

50% + 50% = 100%, or twice what you would normally get. In other words, x2.

50% +50% is not 100% of 1.
Example: 1 + 50% (.5) = 1.5 + 50% (.75) = 2.25 (an additional 1.25 xp)
IF IT stacks properly. Otherwise it's not stacking, its running two 50%s independent off of the base xp equalling 1 xp additional.

Whatever you want to call it, they are added, not multiplied. Sam confirmed this multiple times in both PL and AL.
The same goes for damage elixirs. If you get the 25% damage and you have a 15% damage boost from your pet, then you get 40% total boost. Once again they are added, not multiplied.
