cannot connect to server

I recently downloaded dark legends on my galaxy tablet 2 10.1. And when i open the app it says the server is up but i cannot connect to the server. I dont understand wats going on because i have solid wifi connection to the internet. Could someone pls enlighten me on what to do.

When I have that it usually means I have to wait, sometimes just turning off device and back up helps, but I am not sure if that is the time between that did the trick then, or the actual rebooting.

I tried rebooting my tab. It didnt work. There is however one think that ive noticed. At the top right corner of the screen it say 3g. Im guessing that the app is trying to connect via 3g network. But my tablet is purely wifi based. Is it possible to change the way the app connects to the server?
