Why the prices don' t go down....

Ao3 is now coming next week and I guess there would be new pinks and a rising of the lvl cap..... how come the prices of the lv45 pinks didn't go down:confused:

they did drop. usually level 45 thoth and isis pinks sold for 20-30k but now they sell for 10-20k.

I think he means the high priced items like apep thoth and zuraz shock. They dont go down because the economy isn't stable due to the lack of an auction house.

it will affect the supply and demand of loot. so it should go down, even though it should be down now....

why would a want to pay 800k for a Shock Lance when there would be better loot?

loot is useless to me now...

Lol :D But it defnitely affects demand for items that are no longer at the level cap...
Holybean pretty much nailed this one down. Prices will drop pretty dramatically though once AO3 finally comes out. They always do. Some rare items will never be cheap unless there are better AO3 versions though. Consider the voodoo doll which is a subpar bracer, yet fetches high prices despite being level 35 and having 0 M/s. It's unique and people will pay for unique stuff.

Just a reminder, people still pay that much for some swamp gear, and at least until recently even for some lower level gear ;)

BUT with more levels to have to pass to get to lvl 50 people will be less and less willing to pay up, and then there is always just twinking and set collections...

That's not the point at all. Do you really think people are buying the voodoo doll for several hundred thousand so they can use it on their level 45? No, there are numerous level 45 bracers that have far better stats, and cost much less.
