The apparent discrepancy in HP is most likely do to differences in Int: mine was 360 and his was 235. You have to remember that Int also gives you a boost in health.

change your ring and amulet too or just the rifle (to of fatality) and sealord (to of grace).
I saw one ring for 400k which increased damage beyond the ensorcelled band of brutality
by 1-2 points but also decreased health by about 100.

Hmm, I am pretty sure I saw a lvl25 ring with 15 dex, 30 int and 3.0 damage, but it is no longer there. This would slightly increase damage but significantly decrease health. I did not feel that it was worth it for 400k at the time. Maybe I was just hallucinating in my rush to get dex/int gear while still relatively cheap...

Im at a loss on which way to respec. The dex boost to dmg is minimal percentage wise yo me. And do i want max dmg or max dps or median of both? Also i never liked timeshift in past but now it seems fixed but im so used to spamming a pet attack with ice/fire/lightning i dont know if i could deal with a root lol.

And the health/armor decrease as a result of dex gear makes me fear getting boss rooted/one hit killed a lot more. Seems i always get slowed and then the boss goes red and i cant get away lol. Im not made of plat so cant just respawn on site either.

Just, just a FYI -- the sorcerer mythic helm looks great and is very good for PvE, but for PvP it's beyond awful. I think there are 4 or 5 other helms I would take in PvP instead of this one. You lose so much health and armor that you become incapable of taking any hits without dying.

Here is my damage & critical build, is the critical worth it? I don`t really know. :afro:
Items are int & dex & crit/dmg
passives: int 5/5, dex 4/5
Skills: Fire, Light, Gale (i love the speedburst) and Shield

Lightning critical (250%) means 1017,5 to 1272,5 damage with ONE hit...

This setup rocks for mobs in PVE, bosses are also ok.
I didnt play PVP a lot with that setup but i can remeber the lvl21 times where mages had a really hard time in PVP... this hasnt changed i guess.

Values are so high because he's receiving an outside INT buff. Look at his total INT, thats simply not possible without outside buffs.

Kraken doesn't buff others, only yourself. He is receiving buffs from other pets nearby. And BTW, that build would be awful for PvP -- way too squishy.

The 80 armor boost of koko is pretty op at lvl3. Probably better than the 100 health that clyde will give you. Unless there is another lvl3 or lvl5 who knows what they are doing, my health rarely dips below the 80-90% range. Most of my deaths were from one lvl5 rogue. Also can get 30int boost with koko, like clyde, if you use arcane well :) Finally, could not justify spending the plat on a lvl3, lolz :) Already have spent too much :(

How reliable is Clyde's arcane for pvp? I just got my Slag to 29, but the cooldown is loooooong.

Clydes cooldown is 15 sec, compared to slags 25sec. and slows down enemy with normal attack, making it easier to kite on 1v1 situations.

About that. I am not quite too sure when I switched to watchers tombs but probably around lvl13. I did not do w4 as I thought it would be too risky. Having doing a ton of kill farming at w4 with my main, I know that when you get 4-5 of the mages together you run the risk of them killing you almost instantly no matter what you do. W3 is much safer without big groups of mages. Also the xp/time is probably not too different between w3 and w4 in reality (you may have seen much debate about this in the past in the forums). Yes, and then go to the first level in nordr as soon as you can (lvl23) and farm there as the xp gain is much better there than in the tombs. With the double xp weekend and a combo elixer I was getting 400-500 xp per full pug run. Crazy right? And I did most of my runs in pugs except the watcher tombs which I did solo - too much not a risk of someone gathering a huge mob and bringing it my way right before they die :) I had top gear for levels 3, 10, 15, 16, 21, and 26 to help. I also for kicks did all bosses up to and including maneater to open all areas. Almost died in a pug fighting maneater :( Decided to do skull cove solo for safety reasons. Now about 9000/26000 to level 31. Can't decide if I will wait for another double xp weekend or not to keep leveling :)

Yep, lag does kill. I make sure to play only when I know I have a stable connection. One or two ping spikes almost killed me. I felt sick inside watching the ping run up to 40k or so and hoping I didn't die. This is part of the reason why I never ran w4, and stayed playing on levels that were pretty safe. On a map like w4 a lag of a few seconds can kill you if your have gained the aggro of a big mob. On maps like the first level in nordr, if you have good gear and avoid the boss it is pretty hard to die when you are in a group, even in a pug. Fighting some of the kraken bosses was a little risky, because lag can easily kill you in a pug or when doing it solo, but I felt it would be a little lame if I didn't take some risk and at least try to kill all of the bosses once. I have not yet attempted to do all the nordr bosses, with the exception of maneater, because I am a little fearful of the reflect of alpha wolf and the one hit kill of the other bosses that can even take out a fully geared warrior :(

you should try solo kraag tomb 4, its very good for pve kills and yet its very safe, but dont kill monsters on left turn, only right turn and then when you clear room oposite to exit, exit and replay. kraag tombs are easiest dungeons in game for me. i solo them for pve kills and never died, but also when stable connection, not couse i can die but couse my charged skills dont work, like fireball, or heal, or shield :-)

Quick update on my Sorc. Got the Green Founder Vanity, hehe. And switched out an amulet/armor to buff up the Crit sacrificing very little damage/dps.

The staff adds a nice amount of health and skill damage over the gun but it needs time to get used to.

Solo runs (mainly mob killing) were consistently faster with staff as compared to gun, but the limited range of staffs bug me a bit.

So yeah, I'll have to play around with it a bit more but so far it seems really strong.

-Architect pylon of brutality lvl 36 with 2 normal wisdom gems. Alt in pvp: darkened rifle of brutality lvl 36 with 2 normal glacial gems (gives about 3 damage less).

I see u dont pick any from 3 strongest skills of sor: D:
- Time: Huge cc. Great farm-tool even without warrior u can kill most of mobs
- Lighting: high dam/ critical -> best for boss
- Ice: High dam + AoE cc (a better version of Fireball but Fireball still good since it's 100% chance AoE cc)

My build (just my idea, not the best):
- Fireball: Max
- Ice: 4/5 (dont take ice on ground)
- Shield: 4/5 (dont take push away)
- Time: 4/5 (take freeze time, count to death, timer bomb)
- Heal: 2/5 (take heal mp)

Pas:
- INT: 5/5
- Dam: 5/5
Dex: 5/5

Stragedy:
In combat, if there are a few enemies/ less dangerous enemy use Fire & Ice to stun them & attack with weapon. If enemy is many or dangerous, K.O them with FireBall then run into them, cast Time, run out, keep harassing with Fire/ Ice/ weapon when them were trapped in Time Freeze. I usually take Time/ Fire/ Ice/ Heal, when i feel enemy is too easy to 1-hit-ko me (ex: Boss, ..), change Heal to Shield

Before the current (tindirin) expansion here's what your answer could be

An equation to sum it up =>> Lv*1000 + 1000 = exp needed to lvup

so if i was during the 35cap, i would need 36,000 EXP to lvup

during the tindirin expansion itwas near impossible to lvl up, so STS nerfed the lvl ups to 2600-27.5k
