So basically you're only granted the achievement when you first loot the egg which could only mean 1 thing ... upset players who can't afford plat & those who have the plat but don't have the gold to purchase watch chests
I think making it so you only get the achievement when you OPEN the Hammerjaw egg would be more beneficial for the players and the company.
Some players are rich in real life in this game, and they will obviously keep spending plat if the outcome = high rewards.
The only reason why some players are looting watch crates is for the Hammerjaw b/c it has such a high resell value. B/c of this, it's real value will depreciate overtime, thus less players will be willing to spend plat to open watch crates now, which in turn might hurt plat sales.
I think it's a win-win situation if you grant the achievement for those who hatch the egg b/c pets are "non-tradable", so the achievement is still only granted "once".
