Instead of having Hammerjaw or the rogue weapon (or any other future arcane items..) have something equivalent to a token (or something) that is tradable drop. Pair that with an Arcane NPC that accepts the token for an arcane item of the players choosing, which will be no-drop/cant sell/ cant bank.
Example--Player A gets Arcane Token from a chest, sells in AH for $$. Player B buys token, resells token to player C. Player C wants Hammerjaw, so goes to Arcane NPC and gets pet just like a stable purchase and gets achievement. The same scenario could be applied to the rogue weapon. The mechanics should be in the game...I know Dark Legends has quest NPC's that take items from inventory, etc...and setting up a quest NPC for the Arcane rewards should be pretty straight forward.
Thoughts??
