The topic of anime always gets me semi interested, I always get a little excited expecting to get insight on some obscure unique gem and not a endless stream of cliche. Here are some that have sticked with me over there years.
Cowboy Bebop. A series that could have been directed by Sergio Leone if he was still alive and did anime series.
Rurouni Kenshin - Reminiscence. its 10 years old but a well told mini series.
Berserk, another old series and one i loved sadly it was cancelled, I believe the manga is fairly popular.
Paranoia Agent and Perfect Blue Kon Satoshi snap shot into Japan with out a filter to bad he passed away, I always kept a eye out on his series.
This is just a list of Anime i can recall leaving some impact in the last 10 years. Yes Bleach is a solid anime engrossing and fun, and Naruto had a entertaining story line, but these series have to perpetuate themselves to push merchandise so they become tired hat. Not saying they are not great series, I am just wondering when the hell is the FINAL transformation.
COWBOY BIPBIPBOP.
Ya you have good taste, now for hent... Wait thats gonna get me banned.

Well, speaking in couched terms otherwise this thread will get deleted, is that H disturbs me as when I've seen it, its like cool but cartoons and you know, weird, but understandable.
Depends on what you have seen, some utterly disturbing, other just regular. Still not reason to actually search it out, as it is a cartoon. For calerifaction; the H word is Hot, as in the sun was very hot so I took my top off *boing*
No matter how much the fans of various anime series wish those same girls they drool over night after night would come to life, well it wont happen *various anime girls come to life*
Chnl 5 news; numerous assaults on whats appears to be cartoons characters have been reported all over the country.

I have to say Cowboy Bebop is my definite favorite I had them all on DVR and then burned them to my computer when they started to replay them. I wish they would have made a 2nd movie. They used to play some really good ones on Adult Swim, Trigun was one that I remember really liking. One of the newer ones that I enjoyed was Samurai Champloo. Some of the first ones I remember watching were Akira, Tank Police, and Ghost in the Shell. The only one on your list I had not heard of was Perfect Blue I'll have to find that it sounds good. You can check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Adult_Swim_programs to see some of the great anime they replaced with crap like Delocated and Tim and Eric(I hated that show sooo much)

The ending for Blood+ is a severe disappointment. I have to say that only like 10 episodes of the 50 were any real good...
CODE GEASS FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
