Know the stats for the dragon sets? And also, to get the ring do u need a dragon?

Not sure about the rings, but you DO need the dragon to get the ring. Once you craft the set, wear it, and then put the dragon on, you'll get an achievement and the ring.

You need the pet matching the color of your dragon set and it must be crafted to get ring.

Good thing about this is that you can use 1 dragon set and put rings on all your 60+ toons. Just stash crafted armor, Helmet and pet then wear on the toons that are high enough! Then you will get the ring and don't need to set to get the bonus

And one more question. So if I'm not gonna buy a dragon should I not craft so I can eventually re-sell?

If you can't buy a dragon pet, don't craft the dragon set. Crafting is specificly only for ring, both crafted and uncrafted can be used as vanity, but as uncrafted you can always sell the set back.
