Allies crash game

When I try to access allies to set them for their tasks the game crashes on me. I have 3 toons and happens to all of them. sometimes just hitting ANY button in the allies screen does it. Other times its just when I try to set them to do the task. I have deleted and reinstalled the game. About 1 out of ever dozen or two times trying I get 1 ally set but then go to next and crash. Please help.

OK UPDATE: its not just allies.. its anything in the "MAP" section for the most part. IT ALMOST ALWAYS CRASHES WHEN I TRY TO ACCESS MISSIONS ALSO. SO PLEASE HELP!! Since allies and missions is kind of important to the game Im sure you can see why this concerns me.
