View Full Version : Respec for 5 plat? Why STS?

This is a legit question I have. Why STS? Why do we have to pay 5 plat for a respec, when even in purchase history they register as separate items? I noticed it today when browsing through my plat history and I was really surprised. Because it clearly means (to me) that respec for stats and skills is in fact treated differently, but for some reason we are forced to respec both. Which I just do not understand.
Please someone enlighten me, what is the reasoning behind this? (nonono, no flaming about plat hungry sts pls)

Attribute points and skill points are indeed 2 separate things. But they should put the option to choose which one to respec then.

This is a known issue that players wanted changed for a whiiiiiile now. Im beginning to think they are now just deliberately ignoring what we as a community want vs what they want.

Agreed. Just the recent update they made, about arcane achievement, banners change etc, makes me upset. Yes, it does.

I know it has been made as a suggestion, this thread is merely aimed to ask the question to sts. If they have a reason to do so, I would like to hear. But pls no flaming and no low comments about sts. :)

I'd like to know also, since it does take out -2 then -3.

Hire more people to compensate for the work load then? Idk what else to tell ya cuz, even on DL the Hargarth bug isn't fixed and its been months. Lol Smh.

Do you mean it's not possible or that you just won't change it? I'm sorry for bugging, just don't make sense if it is coded to take off plat in 2 steps as well.. :/

The ability to respec stats and skills separately has been the #1 thing I've wanted since I began playing AL, other than having 360-degree view rotation. I almost never need to respec both simultaneously, and it kinda stinks getting charged 5 plat for the whole shebang.
just like the Confirm Button on purchases...
but its easy to ignore us because it makes a lot of money for them

Anyway all I was looking for here is a straight and honest answer from the devs. Instead all I get is this reply. I respect you guys and you do a great job, such an awesome expansion, new items, bug fixes and all. I really wish I did not see this comment here... When you can pull off such an awesome thing as the kraken maps and you say you cant add an extra button, for which the basic mechanism is already implemented in the game? Well... at least say things honestly...

This is the same issue as not being allowed to keep faces in PL which have been previously purchased. Some things may never be fully explained no matter how many times we request. Welcome to forum life.
Idk if it's true: I've heard that if you had less than 5plat (3 or 4), you would get only skill respecs for 3 plat. Need prove

Pretty quick to fix anything that works in OUR advantage though huh? I've reported a few easy ways to exploit your games I remember one in particular was fixed in less than 24 hours. But if it works in your advantage we just get excuses or ignored.

Yes, if you have 2 plat, it will respec attributes. 4/3 plat you will respec skills. With four plat, I respec skills and I had one plat before.
