Cops pulled me over tonight

So I got pulled over tonight for no reason. Cop came up to me and asked for my drivers licence. I replied "sir why did i get pulled over" he replied " i thought you had expired registration, but i was clearly wrong. Can i have your drivers licence." I replied "sir I do not have to provide my idenification if I have not done anything agaisnt the law in the state of texas." he look at me as if he i was about to be tasered. he said "sir im going to ask your clearly can i have your drivers licence" i said i have not done anything wrong according to texas law I do not have to provide identification. he then told me to wait in my car hat he would be right back. about 2 mins later he came back to me and said im sorry for the misunderstanding you have a good night.....
