Help: rogue skill

Hi guys^^ Recently I've been seeing a lot of stuff about mages being uh,, "not so great". And I was thinking about restarting an old rogue character of mine that I haven't used for a long time. Annnnd,,, I need some help. It's a lvl16 rogue and I'm looking for some advice on what skills I should have.The ones I have right now are;

Shadow Piercer. 1-Charge triple piercing. 2- 75% chance to heal 10% hp. 3- low dmg hits after normal shadow piercer attack.

Noxious Bolt. 1-duration of poison dmg +3sec. 2-increase area to 6m

Razor blade. 1-stay active for +3sec

Shadow storm shot. Everything except increased dmg on critical by 25%

Passives:+5 Dex- 3 points

I picked those skills because they seemed the best at handling mobs. Aimed shot and shadow veil seems good too. Not sure about entangling trap though. And I'm pretty sure I'm going to need combat medic.. Argh,, so confusing.. help please!!

Hi,

in PvE, Nox bolt is very useful useful well because of the constant and stacking damage...
Max aimed shot is always a must for me, specially if you have high crit.
I'd maxx Razor shield for the buffs it gives (+20% dodge is alot).
That's right maxx dex passive! You may want to add crit and or damage passive as well when you reach the level cap.
SHadow piercer hmm I dont think the triple low damage after atk is useful. I only have lvl 1 shadow piercer. I only use it in PvE and getting through dungeons faster hahaha.
I think Shadow veil is most useful in PvE.
Never mind the shadow storm shot aimed shot is alot better. (most especially because of the 250% damage increase when crit).
Combat medic is good if you have a party. But warriors and sorcs have better AoE heal plus there are potions. :)

I have no experience with the trap. So I dont know. :D

Thanks for the answer^^ I think I'll keep nox bolt and razor blade. but what to do with the other two slots?? which should I not use? smoke bomb, aimed shot or shadow piercer? this skill set seems kinda like it'd be ineffective against mobs..

I think aimed shot is really necessary in both PvP and PvE(boss). It deals decent-excellent damage.
I only see rogues using shadow veil(smoke) on PvEs.

Yeah, I'd say max aimed shot, max dex passive, also get the dodge and armor reduce buff in razor shield. :)

5/5 aimed shot is a must. Smoke screen is an automatic upgrade since it debuffs enemies and buffs you at the same time.
