A little about us...

Monthly Kill Contest
We have a kill contest every month. What is a kill contest? We meet in guild hall at a specified time. We note how many PVE kills everyone has. When the timer say go, everyone goes to kill in any mission of their choosing. After 15 minutes, the timer calls time and invites everyone back. The player who added the most kills wins.

Monthly Trivia Contest
Each month we have a trivia night. Theme for trivia changes each month and is announced ahead of time in guild thread.

Guild Member of the Month Award
Each month we select the guild member that was most helpful to the guild for the month. They receive recognition and our thank you....as well as 100K gold. (Officers are not eligible)

Achievement Days
Achievement Days are special days when we pick a game achievement and try to help guild members complete it. One such example was our Nailed It Achievement Day. We lent out spiked helmets to members to enable them to obtain the Nailed It achievement.

Help available regardless of level
Since the game only lets you join players within 3 levels of you, all of our officers have created multiple characters of different levels. No matter what your level is, if you need help completing a mission, just kindly ask for help on guild chat. Even if you don't see anyone near your level on-line, chances are someone can switch to a character that can join you.

Legendary weapons trade
We have a growing collection of legendary weapons available to guild members. How does the trade work? As you level up, you can trade in a legendary weapon you don't need any more, for one of a higher level. Just ask Doom or Officer Virai for a trade. You give us a legendary weapon to put into our weapons stash and we will give you a weapon of whatever level you need that is similar or better. (Thanks to those of you that have been donating weapons for the guild!)

Should leave it as it is, as long at that is working. Potentially, could add to the amounts of runs, or make like 2 a month for the different time zones.
Tbh, I was just running for myself, to see what I could do when i cut loose and don't worry about anything but the pure carnage. I liked doing it, because it was different. Once you keep doing anything though, has the potential to get old. Having this contest is pretty awesome and a good way to help keep people interested in the game.

We all meet in guild hall. I note how many pve kills everyone has. When I say go, everyone goes to any map(s) of their choosing. I keep time. When I call time, everyone must immediately return to guild hall. Then I check to see who added the most kills.

This month's kill contest will be this Saturday, June 8th, at 11 PM Central.

We're doing things a little differently this month. In the past, it has always been on the 13th....but we've heard that a lot of people can't make it cuz of work or school when it's during the week...so we thought having it on a Saturday might be better. Plus...the acting GM (me) will be on a plane most of the day on the 13th...so it's a good time to try moving it to a Saturday. ^_^

We've also decided to add an extra tier to the competition. The total amount of gold awarded will still be 100,000 gold divided as follows:
High-Level tier: Levels 30 and up....winner gets 50,000 gold
Mid-Level tier: Levels 20-29....winner gets 25,000 gold
Low-Level tier: Levels 19 and below.....winner gets 25,000 gold

Note: there is no obsidian gem awarded for breaking the record (that was a special for May only)....only bragging rights this time.

The total amount of gold awarded will be 100,000 gold divided as follows:
High-Level tier: Levels 30 and up....winner gets 50,000 gold
Mid-Level tier: Levels 20-29....winner gets 25,000 gold
Low-Level tier: Levels 19 and below.....winner gets 25,000 gold

We will also be awarding vanity prizes for all second place winners. Please meet in guild hall about 10-15 minutes early.

I jumped on CTF and the red team had 5 players, the blue team none...
I didn't pick a side, it put me on the blue team and the message popped up

I've been trying to think of a good way to reward our most active and helpful members and Officer Gloomcookie made a suggestion that I loved. (Thank you, Cookie) So...Introducing our Guild Member of the Month award! Starting now....at the end of every month...I will be picking a Guild Member of the Month. This will be the person that I think was the most helpful and active member that month. That person will receive 50,000 gold. Since this is the first month...I am going to double this months reward to be 100,000 gold.

A few notes:
- Officers are not eligible for Guild Member of the Month.

I've been trying to think of a good way to reward our most active and helpful members and Officer Gloomcookie made a suggestion that I loved. (Thank you, Cookie) So...Introducing our Guild Member of the Month award! Starting now....at the end of every month...I will be picking a Guild Member of the Month. This will be the person that I think was the most helpful and active member that month. That person will receive 50,000 gold. Since this is the first month...I am going to double this months reward to be 100,000 gold.

A few notes:
- Officers are not eligible for Guild Member of the Month.

January's Kill Contest will be on Saturday 1/11 at 9 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Lately we have a lot of high level players competing and only 1 or 2 low and mid levels compete. So....instead of having 3 tiers (Low, Medium, High)...we are going to see how it goes with only 2 tiers. If more players below level 30 start attending, I will bring back the old 3 tiers system.

The total amount of gold awarded will be 100,000 gold divided as follows:
High-Level tier: Levels 30 and up....1st place winner gets 50,000 gold
High-Level tier: Levels 30 and up....2nd place winner gets 25,000 gold
Low-Level tier: Levels 29 and below....1st place winner gets 25,000 gold

Any person that sets a new record gets a bonus prize...purple wisp.
Current record is Notasparkly's 1040 kills in 15 minutes. (In the event we end up with a double damage weekend, the record to beat will be Rietta's 1287 kills in 15 minutes)

Please meet in guild hall about 10-15 minutes early.
