Newcomers question of Legendaries

So hello first of all.
I m really confused with the legendaries on this game. There are different names for same levels. Some have different last words some have different first words.
Some say chance to proc something. Some are hella expensive some are cheap. Some shine different than others :/ I'm loooooooooooooost.
Enlighten me please!

It's not all that confusing.
The ones with the same name but different last words simply have different buffs, but are the same item.
The ones with the same name but are different level, simply have high level buffs.
The ones that are more expensive, are just plain rare and most likely are more damaging than the cheaper ones.

Most are just different versions of the same equipment. Same item different color/visual effect.

Example= something of will, will boost your mana. While something of stamina will boost your defense/health.

Proc= has a chance to doing something special like burn or lighting damage every once in awhile.

Ermm so dont all legendaries of a certain level overally give the same power? (One can give critical while the other gives dodge but they give something nice) So why is the price range like 200 golds to 50000 golds for pinks of a certain level?

Its all about which ones give the best attributes for your skill set. Obviously the ones with the most benefit will be more rare and desired so they sell for more.

Its depends how rare item is. One item people farm more ( e.g. from Jarl) so automatically there are more of those items in auction so they cheaper. And items from new Kriken isles are more expensive because less people farm there.

And obviously a lvl 10 beast item won't be worth that much because your just gonna have to junk it once you level up, as compared to a lvl 26 weapon which will be good for a long time.

So why is the price range like 200 golds to 50000 golds for pinks of a certain level?

The consignment shop is a free market economy. STS does not control the prices. They are not set by anyone except the players who sell their items. So whichever items people tend to want most often are the ones that tend to end up having higher prices. But that is not always the case. For example, most mages like the oracle guns, but they are pretty cheap since there is a rather large supply of them. So it's like any other economy: supply vs. demand determines the price.
