if youre into those games, save yourself the $60+. the visuals are amazing and i like the storyline BUT the setlist is terrible. the new quest mode is really annoying and pretty muched forced on you if you wanna play the few good songs that are on this game.

sure its cool that you can transfer some songs from previous GH games from world tour onwards (GRANTED you still have the confounded instruction manual for the game, which i realized i didnt have anymore for my GH: metallica game) and personally, i think Gene Simmons narrative debut was pretty lame lol. the new transformations of the main characters are pretty cool save for 2 or 3 of them, not to mention their respective powers that effect your overall score on a song.

this game fails more than it succeeds, so my advice is that you not buy it. its not something you can casually pick up and play, its actually hard.

if youre a die hard fan then get it, but i recommend a real guitar :)

Thanks for the advice.

I love this game a little too much. I managed to come 3rd in the arcade in Universal Studios :P

Im not good enough to play Through the fire and flames on expert, but I see no reason to put that much effort in for one song.

I wasn't impressed with the setlist myself while reading online. So I'll stick with GT3 and 5 for now.

And you can't say get a real guitar, it's a completley different thing. Its like saying don't play racing games, go buy a car instead. :P
