This bug has been around for a whole year now.
So ever since push notifications have been added A YEAR AGO (I remember it was March) to DL it's been spamming me whenever STS sends out a notice. The thing is, I've toggled them OFF. I know I did.
Now here's the thing. How do I know this only happens on Android 2.3.4? Well I got a Samsung Galaxy S3 in September of last year, and immediately disabled the push notifications. There have been a bunch sent out, about various events. My old My Touch 4G connected to only WiFi gets them, while my new phone on 4.0.4 doesn't. On the old phone the game turns on BY ITSELF after being completely forced closed, and push notifies me about the current event.
Conclusion? They don't disable properly on 2.3.4, and only on 2.3.4. And this is happening ONLY on DL. Other STS games properly disable push notifications on Android 2.3.4.
It's extremely annoying, but I don't wanna uninstall on the old phone because it serves as my backup when the new one is charging. Plus I can play STS games nonstop when I want to at home because it's battery is ruined already and needs to be plugged in all the time anyway.
Can this finally be fixed? Please?
