Does anyone know where this firesquid weapon for mage drops?? is this drops in new map or totally random in any map or in chest??

The Firesquid Rod drops from the end boss in Palm Rock Cove.
There is a new Legendary Ring that drops from the end boss in the Lost Cove.

Sam the new legendary -quest- ring is weaker than the previous one, is this supposed to be that way?
