I noticed that a lot of time people just run through the instance and stand where the boss spawns waiting for minutes.
There are only two reasons why the boss doesn't spawn:
1) Someone already killed the boss.
2) You need to kill more mobs.
Just standing there isn't going to do anything! Most bosses in this game require a certain number of mobs to be killed (don't think it matters where they are), as long as you kill a certain number.

That's weird I've nvr had that happen before. It might be because on jarl they don't know that they need to clear mobs first.

It's not just Jarl...I see that often on Mother or pretty much any boss people farm regularly for pets (Klutus, Nest)

Once again, interesting. I've nvr seen this happen.
Yes saw that too especialy in nest in normal map. Soem ppl just running to the boss not killing anything and after their realized thers nos boss they leave....

You have to kill certain amount of mobs before boss shows up

what I find even stranger than that are people who do the hauntlet, finish kill the boss, and then teleport out right after without taking the coin! They're doing it wrong!!!

I hate when people do like that .. I sometimes run like few Jarl runs, when can't find a good party.. but anyway .. it's like you r doing all the "dirty" job for others... and they are just standing and looking.. and when the boss spawns, they MABY will start to do something, or just wait till boss have like 5% health, hit some times and just take a loot... Sometimes really they piss me off, when they do like that.

I don't think you even need to hit the boss to get loot. Some of the best drops I've gotten has been when I enter the map, and just get to the boss when he dies, like non-elite Jarl. And I've seen it happen where I kill the boss and other people score a better drop them myself without touching the boss. I am surprised with all of the begging which happens more people just don't stand around and just collect freebies from other people's hard work.
