I've seen so many people in game getting banned daily/through forums. Of course I won't point out any names, but does somebody want to touch me up on this?

Has everything become stricter, or is the community "ironically" becoming worse? ._.

My personal opinion is the two go hand in hand. When there is no evolution, people become bored in game and begin acting in a different manner due to boredom and frustration. The same is seen on forums. When the content does not change, there is a lack of things for the community to contribute in regards to research, builds, and gear discussion. The result: The community begins to lose sight of it's way and the original focus on hospitality and education.

Dear fellas, we dont discuss about bans on this area and we all know that.

If someone uses the N word they will get an auto 7 day ban. Sts doesnt want a racial slurs used in their game. A word from Samhayne.

I have never had an IG ban. Even though I do the same thing IG too as I do in here, I'm not the one heating up. Just a small piece of information Ik u all were craving to know.

But yep, lack of content makes people search new ways of entertainment. Some change attitudes, some scam and some try to troll.

It's kinda ironic that G took up a stand and told us how hard it is to moderate forums. With more frequent game updating they could have made forums a better place with threads like "omg ty sts" and so fort. And people wouldn't have to try to seek new ways to entertain as the game itself gives entertainment.

Sts will ban however they please and when they please. Little to they know however that when they do ban, they take out a little piece of the community. As time progresses more of those little pieces gather up. Brace yourself my friends, itll only get worst.

My take on things: Its okay to give someone a second chance. Having weeks without PL will patch them up quick. Especially if they were banned for something petty or a forum ban.

Did you take the time to read what Will's OP was even about? This is a discussion thread made for, wait for it, discussion. Big difference between discussing WHY the rise is occurring and WHO has been actually banned.

I would assume if it were something petty it wouldn't be a permaban.

There are rules in place. If you break them you may get banned. Pretty simple logic. If it's too complicated, they probably would not be a good fit.

Most bans are not permanent (unless the person is doing something grossly against TOS which, I assume you are not talking about here). They are short term bans where the person involved has a cooling off period to make a point that their language/behaviour is not acceptable. That gives people a chance to think about the way they play the game or use the forums. I agree that boredom does harbour the need to spice things up a bit both on forums and in game but there are ways and means to go about that without causing stress to yourself and others. I fully support the use of insta bans for the use of derogatory, racist and explicit language. Everyone in the community should be protected from this. There's no excuse for using certain words even in the heat of the moment. Personally I also think it's not big or clever trying to find ways to get around the chat filters-it just shows a lack of maturity. If STS have tightened up these w0rd$ then so much the better imo. But I'll agree...it's been a quiet week this week!

They make more money making a new game than they do updating current games. They have a billion downloads in a month on a new game. We will be neglected as long as AL is making more money. Sad but true. That's life! After AL dies off like like DL and SL you would think our stable players of PL would get some attention. Nope.... Then they will roll out another game.

It is a case of busy parent impatient child. Child keeps asking parent question but gets no response so eventually gets frustrated and screams at them. Parents get mad and punishes child. Same thing here. Players ask about updates but get no responses so they post threads trashing the game and the devs. The devs shut it down saying they don't respond to rants, but they don't respond to questions either. The longer this goes on, the more rants they will get, the more players will act out, and the more bans will happen.
