Is pure str good? In both pve and pvp. I want to make the ultra tank and not sure if pure str is good. What does it improve? Pros? Cons? Is 90 hit % really that bad?

Endgame, ya go pure str. Dem behrs so pro. Wacking them birds about with 30% hit rocks. Actually you'd be surprised how long a couple thousand HP lasts vs a bird!11!! Again go for it dude; they are super effective PvE and PvP!

Pure strengh will boost your skill damage and health pool. Also depends on what level, gear and stats you have. Ex: Full strengh l55 bear wearing fortified has 67 hit %.

Specify level as some levels (35, 50) provide sets which make pure actually viable because of the bonus in hit %. I have a thread in here somewhere which discusses all sets for bear from AO3 to Humania and compares/contrasts them in pure strength and "dual" specs.
