There's A Thing That Annoys Me And Other People Too .
In Games , The Prices Are Really Really High , Here's My Point :

People Are Farming For Weapons And Sell Them , Example :

- Shock Lances > 2 - 4 Hours Of Farming .
- Vyxnaar Helmet > 1 - 3 Hours Of Farming .

Ok , The Problem Is That The Prices Are Overpriced !

People Are Selling Pinks Like ( Conqueror's Shock Lance For 300k At The Moment ) ,
That Is Overpriced !!

When New Items Are Coming Out , Who Decides The Price Range ?

When New Players Are Coming ( lvl 1 - 45 ), How Can They Afford 400 - 999k Items !?

People , Don't Forget That It's Hard To Get Gold !!

We Should Set Prices For New Items , And Discuss Of A Price !


Seriously , STOP Overpricing Items !!!

I don't agree. Let people sell for what they want. There is no rule saying that we have to sell something for this much. It's ultimately up to the buyer whether or not they'll bust out the dough.

Prices are insane, but it will remain so as long as there are buyers insane enough to pay them. Sellers and groups of people on the forum can't set or control prices, only buyers refusing to pay such ridiculous amounts can achieve that effect.

Buyers determine the price. If nobody purchases whatever weapon is being overpriced, eventually they will lower the price. There is an old saying where the question is asked "How much are you going to sell that for?" and the reply is "However much somebody is willing to pay". If people are willing to BUY things at a high price, the price will not come down. When nobody wants to spend all their gold on something, the price will not remain high. Its a supply and demand thing.

lol lets face it, all of us ave sold things for crazy prices and got pretty rich. but for new players, it is hard to afford an item u need for ure lvl and many buy from the shop or use oranges and greens. we need prices lower not so we can buy them to merch, but so players can afford items they need.

I enjoy selling things at reasonable prices and only ever made one big sale to a guy who would not stop asking to buy my Ryloxx (back when blasters were really hot). I made most of my money by running dungeons and liquidating junk. Be a part of the solution Conradin, not the problem ;)

there is no such thing as a real price. You just make that nonsense up with your merchant guild twits. You have always sold stuff for as much as you possible could. Dont come to the boards and post quite possible the most hypocritical post in the history of the sts boards and then cry about getting flamed for it.

Basicly everything you do and say is a fascade. You pertend to be selfless and yet there is always a selfish alterior motive. An example is when you tried giving away "millions" in order to get the PL shield, complaining you deserve it while at the same time arguing it was a selfless act.

Fixed prices can be abused the same as anything else... I don't imagine anyone wants to deal with monopolies... I don't like that prices are so crazily high either... But, any healthy market fluctuates... Already prices are drastically lower due to AO3 coming out... I never have much money, but a lot of players have millions now... Back in the swamp days, only Lone had a million... People have more gold to spend now so prices are higher for an item that's highly desired & in little supply...

Wow, really we're having this debate again. I understand that some items are overpriced so I don't buy them, there is always alternatives. I've never had more then 250k and I still have very good gear from farming and trading. If you don't think the item is worth what the seller is asking then offer what you think is fair or ask for a trade. If that's still not enough then don't buy it. Just remember that the next time you get that super rare item and try charging an obscene amount for it. The Auction House should help to equalize the prices for most items but the price for rare items will always be set by what people are willing to pay.

I wish I could get a rare drop so I could actually use it on my char and not selling it. Thats what this game is for me, this has become some kind of greed game when all you guys started trading stuff back and forth. So many MMO has been destroyed because of the economic part takes overhand of the game experience. Play and enjoy!!!

My case with this is, Whatever is the lowest price in CS, is the "price" for that particular time. If you wanna sell something for cheaper in an attempt to lower the prices, then go ahead, but don't cry later on when people who accept the prices as is buy the more expensive item that you sold for much less. If people post their high prices and they sell, then they cash out big time. I've seen things getting relisted because they are unwilling to let go of certain items for lower prices than what they ask, nothing wrong with this.

You guys DO realize this is a old post and a majority of inflation in game has gone down? Only super valuable items are collectors or the lvl 55 gear are high priced, which the dungeons still so new, that they have a right to be high in price.
