Glacian is a new Arcane Rarity pet coming soon to Locked Grand Crates of the Watch. He has some great abilities. We'll have all the details of him when he's available (should be in a patch on Thursday, March 21st). Look for details then!

Just had this in mind: If the Hammerjaw is in a form of a shark which has a connection to the Kraken Isles expansion, would it be safe to speculate that the theme for the next expansion would involve ice? Snow Mountains anyone?

That is something I think it would be safe to assume, but now we have to guess which of the two classes, warrior or sorcerer lives in an ice kingdom as a homeland? I'd think it was the warriors, meaning the warriors get the next arcane weapon.

That's a good guess. Although our little blue sorcerers could be from the ice mountains -- maybe thats why they're blue? From being too cold! hehe

I know i'll waste 5000 platinums again if I open those (word) crates. It really teaches you a lesson when you open about 4000 platinums of crates to receive only pinks worth 5k each maximum.

im not happy about how much they are making this a money game, so much for free....you need to pay to get achievements, last i checked achieves were for tremendous feats of skill...not blind luck

what planet do you live on? leaderboards on every game are for the best players, not the biggest money spenders, anyone can drop a couple hundred in a game and have good stuff, but actually using the things to be on the leaderboard is not a thing that someone without skill can do, i understand sts needs to make their money, but why give achieves and achieve points for blind luck on a egg......thats just useless

grim have you played wow or big mmos out there? most of them require some sort of in game purchase if you want to stay on the top for achivements?
this game isn't subscription based like runescape so don't expect all content to be 100% free/farmable/purchasable with gold

edit: you can actually get max achives free in this game as arcane hooks and myth helms are lootable off golden elites so why so mad?

i have played wow, everquest, o&c and none of them are as unfair as this is there are ways to get that content as drops from certain areas....this is dif because the only way to get them is through crates, and even if its a in game purchase....thats fine...but this....this is just a gamble thats a big FU to the gamers, ripmaw is a good example....250 plat straight out for a mythic banner and achieve...thats fine.....but having to risk thousands of plat for something that has a .001% chance of dropping, thats just a scam, is spacetime really that poor?

yea I myself don't agree with the drop rates on certain items but hey we're playing in their sandbox so it's not our say in the end.
I think most people would rather prefer spending 500/1k/2k plat on the pet vs gambling.

oi and grim I met 2 players today, 1 girl got hammer with 2 crates, and the guy who sold me his myth helm got it with his first golden chest

I did a few runs when I had my plats left. Now, I only go for pures. Which I don't even really do anymore. But leaderboards for the people that can spend the most real money is a bit craziness

Each Arcane item keeps their rarity. It's just that if you get that luck, it'll be one of them.

Yeah, what eagle said. If anything, it's even harder now to get the specific arcane item you want since there are 3 instead of 2. But the chance to loot an arcane is still the same
