But why only from locked crate? Some new pets normaly dropable or when its arcane rarity why not from elite golden pirate also?

No offense to hammerjaw, he's my all time fave pet right now, but glacian looks SICK! I MEAN HE'S SO PERFECT FOR PVP.. WHICH IS WHAT I USUALLY DO ALL THE TIME IN THE GAME.. WISH THEY LET THE SNARE EFFECT HE HAS GET EFFECT IN PVP. COZ THAT WOULD BE SO COOL.

Would this pet be considered overpowered once the 31 cap comes out? The passive ability seems overpowered and would make a lot complain, and if Glacian was L31, it would be even more damaging in PVP.

Anyone notice that mythic pets and legendary pets have the same damage? Don't you think mythic should be slightly better? I guess they did that to avoid the "pay to win" issue since mythic pets are purchased with plat.

Yeah I noticed this too energizeric. Seems mythic should be ever so slightly better than legendary just from rareness. I think arcane pets should be bumped up even more as they are so rare/hard to find.

I opened 145 locked crate until now still couldnt find that pet, so is better to forget that, I'm not gonna open any locked crate anymore,

After using the Glacian for a month, I cannot recommend spending your hard earned plat on opening crates until they fix the damage issue with Glacian.

Can you let us know if there is going to be a buff to Glacian? Carapace hinted that you guys would at least tweak him a bit to make him more up to par with previous season's pets and we have not seen nor heard anything on this matter for a while now?

i agree whit all comments made ...
a legendary pets like Malison own better my Hammerjaw atm , just adding +10 stats buffs and %5 critic for 8 seconds < Malison's 20 all stats and Dodge arcane ability for 3 sec..
Can we have an answer about any update on the Arcane pets ? Sorry for saying that but all of em sux now...
They told they are discussing future of arcane pets from time to time, unfortunately, we play and pay our money now, not in future.

I've tried Glacian for 2 weeks. It is a good pet but I find several flaws:
- The skill "arcane" very slow to load. It would be nice that resembled that of other pets.
- It is very slow, so I always have to wait it.
- It is always far from my character so it is difficult to focus on a target damage, bad for pvp.
- The happiness stats are not good for a warrior, and now worse if you have a mythic weapon that has low damage. +10% Critical is really good for rogue or sorcerer, not for warrior.
Pro: basic and critical damage is good, better than a mythic pet.
I would like to use Glacian in pvp, but not as good as slag. Glacian is good for parties with rogues and sorcerers that protect them for great damage bosses. I had parties that rogues didn’t die with grimnir.
I hope they improve Glacian, I expected more for it.

I think it should be slightly better to make him worthy of being "Arcane". Also, it would be nice if his passive ability continued to improve as he levels up. It seems it's been the same for the last 10+ levels.

You said it yourself, avoid the "pay to win" issue. Pets shouldn't be the meat and potatoes of your character anyway. They are fine the way they are in my opinion.

On the other hand, Mythic pets are plat exclusive and would be "pay to win" if they were significantly better than other pets, but they actually have the same damage/crit as legendary pets, and as far as I can see their happiness bonus and arcane/passive abilities are just different, but not better.

Please buff hammerjaw and glacian! The new arcane pet (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?107206-New-Arcane-Pet-coming-to-Arcane-Legends-Locked-Crates-Samael-the-Wraith!) just make them look... well wimpy :(

I personally think all pets, and yes even arcanes should not have a "best pet".
Each pet should have specific traits that makes certain players pick them over the other pets.
People who use Glacian might prefer the crit bonus whereas hammerjaw users prefer the dmg bonus and stuns.
But in the case with Samuel...it feels like a combo of glacian and hammerjaw + some more >.>
*Hammerjaw could use a 15/15/15 + 15% Dmg base stats / Glacian 15/15/15 + 15% Crit base stats
B/c right now Hammerjaw is arguable just a tad better than it's pink counterparts (i.e. kettle) and can be argued to be worse than Slag
And Glacian is an improved Horton/Mccraw with fairer stats but not arcane like. It's passive could at least slow the enemy in pvp.
