I bought this blu-ray today and watched it for the first time ever. Lots of people had told me it was a good movie, and well they were right it was great. I recommend you guys watch it, even if you watch it in regular definition and not HD...and personally it's visually something worth watching.

Hey Aveea! Yeah I have yet to read the book. I'm thinking of buying it soon to better understand, and appreciate the story :adoration:

Another movie that looks like it might be similar is Cirque du Soleil World's Apart...I might rent that I've though haha

I can't recall if it was 300 days (maybe the book's different), but yes, it is.

That's not what I meant. It was more the metaphor of the movie as a whole. :)

I saw the movie yesterday.
If it wasn't for this post I probably wouldn't have watched it. It was better than expected. I watched it on a friend's OLED TV, the colors and vistas in this movie were mindblowing at times.
And yeah, was there really a tiger? :p

Remember what his dad said? (I think it was his dad?) "A tigers eyes reflect your emotions." So it just leaves you thinking about the tiger...also remember the last story Pi told the insurance people?
