Here is the original thread: http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?91039-How-does-damage-work

And I think that some of you, PVP "pros" have more idea about it.

Shortly, my hypothesis is:

Damage output = A : (your damage - enemies armor)

With "A" being a constant of (roughly) 1.7

I am not sure if A is a constant though, does it depend on anything? Like level, stats?

Asommers put a 10-15% damage reduction in PvP. Tbh, he may need to increase it a tad more when applying to end game PvP.

Thanks. I though that this is a result of (re)balancing PVP. It had to be "nerfed" several times though, since now the damage ouput is roughly 60% of (your damage in stats - enemy armor)

Finally i know why sunblessed scimitar does 23-47 damage to target (bird L50), and when i take rift hammer and smash one time
-> 270-350 damage to target (unbuffed)
