How long does someone have to play to be considered a "veteran"?? Am I considered a "veteran"??? Idk I'm just wondering because people keep calling me noob, and I just do not feel like one. (Laugh out Loud)

PL hasn't been out for 4 years...
But to answer your question, I guess it depends on who you ask really. I guess I would consider myself one. Been playing since Feb 2011

2010 is usually the time consideration.
But by STS, a veteran plays for 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months.

@menn there will always be ppl whp call u noob even tho its the not the correct term technically, they use as a derogatory word, but really it means a new player, i think players often forget that lols, btw i can vouch for u as veteran, i remember u during ao3 or sewer cap, i have seen your name b4 ig
It could also depend on knowledge in addition to time spent playing the game. I think that as long as you don't claim to know something you don't really or have experienced something you haven't, then you can't be considered noobish ;)
Just be happy in how long you have played and what experiences you have had in game. With time, those experiences will make you a veteran in comparison to newer players~

I consider veterans those who joined before the 1.3 update a.k.a. The update that added hats, killed forest haven and made it ugly... :/

Sometimes there comes exceptionally good wine in some seasons. November 2010 is like the same for uber pro people to PL.

Though honestly I didn't play enough back then to be counted as a veteran. same. I got stuck at dark forest for a long time :P but I did the free plat religiously and I bought the maps. Took me like 2 weeks though.

People call other noobs because they generally lack any imagination and its the most common allowable "put down" in the game. I highly doubt it really has anything to do with when you joined since the term is thrown around so much.

I tried Pl the first time in march/April 2011. It looked like it was for my 3 yr old, not me. I never deleted it, and tried it again in June 2011.

December 25th, 2010... Best christmas EVER!! Got my iPod Touch 4g, discovered PL, plus a couple other games that I still play.
I stopped playing for a few months towards the end of 2011, but started back up again around march 2012, stopped for another few months, played a bit from August to about December, and since then I have played obsessively >.<

Honestly, I did the same exact thing you did. Got my phone and was like "Sup PL."
Didn't create a forum account until later because the game wasn't my center of attention, then I grew more interested and here I am.

Ooh, just made it in the weird November 2010 club: Account Created 2010-11-28. I dropped out for a lot of 2011-12 though, so noob all over again.
And yeah, it seems like for most people its the harshest thing they can think of to call someone. Even if you could cuss in game, I think to them noob is still worse. My favorite is the merchs in cs with sell offers and stating 'no noob offers' at the end. Do they mean lowball offers? That seems like it's a pro move. Noob offers usually are too high, yeah? "please don't offer me more than this piece of crap is worth!" is what they could say.

I'm a veteran, I have been a registered member since May 10, 2010.
Ps. The centurion veteran vanity set, seems to no longer represent the true veterans, now you just need to play for a certain amount of months and you get it. Sts should make a vanity set for the true veterans, who's registered account shows that they have been there since the beginning. Maybe something that can go with the founders helm or maybe a whole new vanity set. Just some suggestions.
