I, a bear, have The Chantress Diaries and the Frosty Gauntlets quests and walked through the magical portal, which took me to a new instance of Lost Expedition -1. I complete that, go to Lost Expedition -2 and finish that. Neither level gives me any advancement on those two quests.
I had the Chantress Diaries with another quest before the Frosty Gauntlets quest and the Magical portal took me to Lost Expedition - 3 for those two, which worked out. I have run levels 1-3 twice now, still no Frosty Gauntlets. When I went through the portal a second time, it took me to Lost Expedition - 2. I don't know if the Gauntlets are just really rare or I'm on the wrong level. I'll try again later.
