I here by have a challenge for al of you recruiters of darksiders. Thus challenged will be rewards depends on your pve kill count.

The challenge is to get to 50k pve kills for those who have under 50k pve kills. For those who have 50k pve kills and is a recruiter I challenge you to get 100k.

The reward for each recruiter who gets 50k pve kills I will reward him/her 25k. For those who get 100k pve kills I reward each of you 30k.

Regarding my recent actions in the guild, I'd like to clear out some things that I've heard from members and I suppose some recruiters.

I have not been involved with the trick/prank about /g guildhall or whatnot. I was not present during that time and I still don't know what it was about. I haven't really asked about it either, It just mattered that it was put to end.

I have heard comments that I was quite defensive aka "mean" sometimes. I'd like to apologize for that if I seem that way. I do not purposely display myself as such. I will not explain, but I have some severe IRL issues outside of AL, and sometimes it reflects my behavior online.

This is issue IRL may or may not disappear overtime.

Innapropriate behavior is becoming common in GC. So please take precaution because there are younger individuals within the guild. I will do my best and increase my efforts to stop any of these activities.

I'm not psychic. Even if I am a silly person sometimes, I'm serious about things when it comes to them. Tell me when you feel discomforted by something on Guild Chat or from other guildmates.

Therefore, I apologize immensely to the guild. I hope this clears out any wrong conclusions that people have made during this time and I will improve myself as best as I can.

Also after you read this, I'm not trying to make you guys like me. Ik you all have your personal favorite officer. I only said my honest reasons.

- These contests have now ended! No more submissions will be accepted beyond this point. The results are being tallied and will be posted by sunday feb 2nd

- Also we will have a guild meeting on sunday feb 2nd to give out all rewards. If you are not present at the time we will hold your prize until we meet next.

***DARKSIDERS TEAM BATTLE TOURNAMENT ENROLLEMENT HAS BEGUN!!!***


Team Battle Tournament

- Only Darksiders may join this Tournament.
- Only 1 Recruiter may be a Battle Group Leader.
- All Battle Groups must have 4 players of minimum level 35.
- Battle Group Enrollments must be submitted and approved by an officer or the Master between Feb 1st and Feb 8th.
- Battle groups must also include the TIME OF DAY @ which your Battle Group plays
- Only 1 Officer can substitute any absent group members for Battles - To be determined on the day of Battle
- If a Battle Group is disbanded after Feb 8th, those players may no longer participate in this tournament.


How it works

- 2 Moderators/Officers will be present in all Battles to enforce rules.
- Failure to comply with Battle Rules will result in team disqualification.
- No Battle Points will be earned for the disqualified Battle Group. Other Team Wins and gets Battle Points
- Winning and losing Battle Groups will be awarded Battle Points.
- Battle Groups may join a maximum of 3 Battles per day of any Battle type offered on that day.(See Calendar)
- Battle Groups will not face off against the same Battle Group more than once per day
- Battle Group with most Battle Points earned at the end of a Battle will also get a small monetary reward.
- Battle Group with the most points earned by March 1st will win grand prize of 1 million gold to be divided.


What kinds of Battles to expect

*1v1 - Best 3 out of 5 matches (Moderators Discretion)
- 5 Battle Points for winning Battle Group of a Battle - 2 Battle Points for losing the Battle

*2v2
- Best 3 out of 5 matches (Moderators Discretion)
- When you die you must go to the "Safe Zone" designated by the Moderators until match ends
- Match is over when all of a Battle Group is killed. Then a new Match will begin.

F E A R has entered a partnership with Darksiders. We have agreed on the following arrangements

- F E A R will recruit level 18 - 34 Characters
- F E A R will assist in leveling these players as well as helping them achieve ALL Normal Arch-Enemy Achievement Points.
- Once a character in F E A R reaches level 35 they will undergo Ascendance.
- Ascendance is the Final Trial of a F E A R member before moving to Darksiders. This will be the Anger Management Achievement in most cases.
- The Ascendance will include 1 F E A R Officer and 1 Darksiders Recruiter or Officer
- F E A R Officers will reach our to a Darksiders Recruiter or Officer for the Ascendance trials.
- Once the Ascendance is successfully completed, the F E A R member will be immediately recruited into Darksiders by the aforementioned Recruiter or Officer

I was just talking about taking the existing pic (without the toons) and just recolouring the yellow into red if you were able (I dont have the programs to recolour is all I mean). No worries.

**Each Officer will be assessed to fit into one of these specializations in order to not only facilitate the guild but to ensure that the Officers have an opportunity to grow and use thier strengths to the fullest!

Ambassador: Officers in this capacity will focus on interaction with our Recruiting Guild FEAR in order to help along the Ascendance Process as well as develop new strategies to work with other guilds.

Herald: Officers in this capacity will focus on ensuring that all new members are educated on how and where to find our Forum thread and Facebook group. These officers will also ensure to have staggered meetings throughout the week to help make sure all members are sufficiently informed on news, updates and any contests happening.

Inquisitor: Officers in this capacity will focus on ensuring that any and all new players are immediately catered to and ensure that early elites from Brackenridge, Ydra Forest and Dead City are completed almost as soon as they join the guild.

Beastmaster: Officers in this capactity will focus on farming Pets to help members achieve their Pet AP. These officers are responsible for coordinating the "egg games" for the guild.

Myrmidon: Officers in this capacity will focus on PvP. These officers will be tasked with moderating any PvP events as well as motivating players to PvP on a regular basis.

Steward: Officers in this capacity will assist all Officer types. It is expected that Officers in this role will fufill the duties of the other Officers types in thier absence.

<F E A R> and <R E P O> have entered a partnership with <Darksiders>. We have agreed on the following arrangements

- <F E A R> and <R E P O> will recruit level 18 - 34 Characters
- <F E A R> and <R E P O> will assist in leveling these players as well as helping them achieve ALL Normal Arch-Enemy Achievement Points.
- Once a character in <F E A R> or <R E P O> reaches level 35 they will undergo Ascendance.
- Ascendance is the Final Trial of a <F E A R> or <R E P O> member before moving to <Darksiders>. This will be the Anger Management Achievement in most cases.

I hope to be on later today to assist with Hauntlet training, but for those of you that I miss, I wanted to post my tips here. You may also check the player guides section of the forums. I learned a lot by reading the advice there.

In order to achieve the fastest Hauntlet times, you will want to equip your highest damage items. This means NO LEPRECHAUN PENDANT! Choose a pet that boosts your damage, speed or crit. Oddly enough, Ribbit was one of the very best pets for my mage and I have used it many times to get Hauntlet times <90 seconds.

Run the Hauntlet with parties of 3 or 4 toons. I may be biased, but I believe you should always have at least one mage and one rogue in your party.

Make sure every member of the party is ready to go before you start the timer. Every second counts!

Expect to use a lot of potions for a fast time. Do not rely on heal skills.

The Hauntlet is divided into 3 rooms. Here are my instructions for each room.

Room 1:
In this zone, you must kill all the mobs. There is one mob that spawns very late behind the pillar. Because of this, the thing to do is to stay as close to the back side of the pillar as possible and group all mobs in. Use AOE attacks to take the mobs down quickly. As soon as the message pops up, move quickly on to the next zone.

Room 2:
In this zone, you must kill the mobs that initially spawn, plus the later spawning sorcerers only. Rogues should focus on taking those mages out. The mages spawn in pairs, one on each side. Assign one DPS character to each side. Watch closely for the message that you can move on to the next zone, as there will be many mobs remaining.

Room 3:
Here you only need to kill the boss. Before you start the Hauntlet timer, designate one toon (preferably a toon with a speed skill, and the one who does the least damage) to run for the exit. This toon needs to start running for the exit when the boss reaches 1/2 health. The first toon who crosses the line stops the timer for the entire party.

Additional notes:
It always helps to have speed or damage elixirs, but quick times can be achieved without these boosts. All party members should have at least high end legendary gear, and having some mythic/arcane equips helps a lot. Mages and rogues need to deal damage out quickly. Mages should use AOE skills to hit the maximum number of mobs possible, especially in the first room. For those with the clock skill, wait to drop the clock until a large number of mobs will be inside the effect. Rogues should use their single target damage to quickly bring down the second room mages and the boss in the final zone. Warriors can aid in tightly grouping mobs, and holding aggro so mages and rogues can keep attacking without dying or spamming as many health potions. If you want to do many Hauntlet runs in sequence, a quick way to reenter the zone is to keep the Hauntlet cannon quest unfinished, then you can port directly to the Hauntlet without travelling through Kraag. You can also use the social tab to join members of your party once they have entered the Hauntlet.

In light of some news with regards to the activity levels in the guild, the officers and I have opted to make some changes to our recruiting policies.

We will be approaching all current members and recruiters of <Darksiders> to inform you that by April 1st all characters under level 35 will be moved to either <F E A R> or <R E P O> for the purposes of leveling. Once your character meets <Darksiders> level requirements, your character can be invited back into <Darksiders>.

If you have not been moved to one of these guilds by April 1st you will be subject to removal

The Recruiting Rules have been updated accordingly

OVERVIEW


We have been Ranked at #14 this week

This is the toughest week we've encountered. Activity was vastly impacted. We are now taking steps to remove any player under level 35 by April 1st. Come april 1st we will only be accepting players level 40+. I expect many stats to decrease. But we need to cater to the players that are most active and reward them with the most help possible.


3 Things we are doing well with:

1 Activity
(Decreased by 3 Ranks)
Removing innactive players from the Guild Roster over the next couple of weeks to foster more active players. Ranked 13th average over all 5 categories

2 PVE Kills
(Decreased by 2 Ranks)
With the coming of the new expansion take the time to farm the new normal maps and get those Teeth! Also, get into our Monster Mash contests this month! Top PvE killer gets 50K! 100K to the player who can beat Oggtogg's record. Ranked 12th

3 Achievement Points
(Decreased by 1 Rank)
Im glad to see we're helping each other out! we expect this rank to drop a bit due to removal of players. But I know we will always do good in this field. Ranked 5th
