STAFF/OFFICERS

Officers are responsible for regular interaction with guild members, ensuring that support is provided as required for all other members of <Darksiders>. They facilitate guild runs and provide supportive administrative tasks to the Guild Master. Forward all concerns about behavioural issues to an Officer online. Officers reserve the right to dismiss any member or recruiter who is directly rude to them or blatantly disregards any enforcement of guild rules. We're here to help everyone. :)

-Roles and Responsibilities

**All Officers will be designated these general responsibilities

*Officers must conduct and organize runs for the guild on a regular basis. "A Call to Arms"
*Officers must formally introduce new Members to the guild at the soonest opportunity (Example: "Welcome to DS - Wear your title - Please don't beg - Have fun")
*Officers contribute to the guild fund for rewards and recognition programs and contests.
*Officers have the autonomy to issue the recruiters test on behalf of the Master. If the Member passes then they will be promoted the next time the Master logs on.


**Each Officer will be assessed to fit into one of these specializations in order to not only facilitate the guild but to ensure that the Officers have an opportunity to grow and use thier strengths to the fullest!

Ambassador: Officers in this capacity will focus on interaction with our Recruiting Guild FEAR and REPO in order to help along the Ascendance Process as well as develop new strategies to work with other guilds.

Herald: Officers in this capacity will focus on ensuring that all new members are educated on how and where to find our Forum thread and Facebook group. These officers will also ensure to have staggered meetings throughout the week to help make sure all members are sufficiently informed on news, updates and any contests happening.

Inquisitor: Officers in this capacity will focus on ensuring that any and all new players are immediately catered to and ensure that early elites from Brackenridge, Ydra Forest and Dead City are completed almost as soon as they join the guild.

Beastmaster: Officers in this capactity will focus on farming Pets to help members achieve their Pet AP. These officers are responsible for coordinating the "egg games" for the guild.

Myrmidon: Officers in this capacity will focus on PvP. These officers will be tasked with moderating any PvP events as well as motivating players to PvP on a regular basis.

Steward: Officers in this capacity will assist all Officer types. It is expected that Officers in this role will fufill the duties of the other Officers types in thier absence.

#1 Wear your guild title

Please wear <Darksiders> at formal Guild Events and when among your peers.

**Note: Though there is no repercussion if you do not. Guild pride is taken into account when considering promotions to becoming an officer.**





#2 Do not beg

Someone who does not feel comfortable will report you to a staff member (Officer or Master)
This includes:

(a)Asking for money or items, resulting in a complaint.
**Note: Best is to not ask at all**

(b)Asking for a promotion, resulting in a complaint.
**Note: Asking how to be promoted is different than asking to be promoted**

(c)Asking for a Group, resulting in a complaint.
**Note: People will get to you when they arent busy. Try PM'ing people instead of just depending on GC**
**Note: Failure to comply will result in an infraction**





#3 Have fun!

"Fun" must not be at another persons expense.
(a) No Random invites to Party without notice
**Note: Please ask first**

(b) Do not be rude to fellow guildmates
**Note: take it out of GC. if you cannot handle it yourself, ask an Officer for help**

(c)Refrain from swearing or adult topics in our Guild Chat
**Note: We have children playing too**

#4 Recruiting

(a) Recruiters and Officers may recruit level 30+ players. Alts of a guilded main are permitted. All requests to add characters under 30 must first be made by the guilded main character.

(b) Recruiters and Officers may recruit level 26 TWINK players.

**Note: If an exception is to be made it must be reported to an Officer or the Master for approval**
**Note: Individual results may vary**
**Note: Failure to comply will result in an infraction**






#5 Becoming a Recruiter

(a) Members require Level 40 to get the recruiters test.
(b) Members also require Paragon title to get the recruiters test
(c) Alts. must still meet these requirements to become Recruiters
(d) TWINK alts. only require the Paragon title to get the recruiters test






#6 Becoming an Officer

(a) Officers will only be elected by vote based on the needs of the guild subject to the decision of the Master.
(b) Must be a Recruiter to be nominated for this position.
(c) Alts. of an Officer will be immediately promoted to Officer for administrative purposes.

#7 Activity

These rules will apply to members who go noticeably inactive.

#8 Privacy

Reporting is a serious issue. If a report on an individual is made public you also violate the rights of their privacy. Disputes will be dealt via Tells, or Party message where a Staff Member and both parties will come together. No private matters, reports, disputes or otherwise private discussion will be done in a public domains such as guild chat or anywhere an individuals privacy is otherwise jeopardized.

#9 Reporting

Please report infractions directly to a Staff Member and ONLY a Staff Member as soon as possible. Staff Members will decide if the situation is worthy of a warning. Warnings work as follows.

(a) 1 Warning is verbal and reported to the Master
(b) 2 Warning will result in demotion if applicable - Your name will appear on the "Thin Line" list.
(c) 3 Warning will result in removal from the guild - Your name will appear on the "Blacklist" - You may not rejoin <Darksiders> until Staff agree it is okay.

#10 Infractions

(a) Infractions last 1 month from the time of being reported
(b) You cannot be promoted if you currently have an infraction against you.
(c) Infractions disappear after 1 month of good behaviour.

We have been Ranked at #14 this week

This is the second toughest week we've encountered. Activity is vastly impacted. We are now taking steps to remove any player under level 35 by April 1st. Come april 1st we will only be accepting players level 40+. I expect many stats to decrease. But we need to cater to the players that are most active and reward them with the most help possible.

In light of some news with regards to the activity levels in the guild, the officers and I have opted to make some changes to our recruiting policies.

We will be approaching all current members and recruiters of <Darksiders> to inform you that by April 1st all characters under level 35 will be moved to either <F E A R> or <R E P O> for the purposes of leveling. Once your character meets <Darksiders> level requirements, your character can be invited back into <Darksiders>.

If you have not been moved to one of these guilds by April 1st you will be subject to removal

- <F E A R> and <R E P O> will recruit level 18 - 34 Characters
- <F E A R> and <R E P O> will assist in leveling these players as well as helping them achieve ALL Normal Arch-Enemy Achievement Points.
- Once a character in <F E A R> or <R E P O> reaches level 35 they will undergo Ascendance.
- Ascendance is the Final Trial of a <F E A R> or <R E P O> member before moving to <Darksiders>. This will be the Anger Management Achievement in most cases.
- The Ascendance will include 1 <F E A R> or <R E P O> Officer and 1 <Darksiders> Recruiter or Officer
- <F E A R> or <R E P O> Officers will reach our to a <Darksiders> Recruiter or Officer for the Ascendance trials.
- Once the Ascendance is successfully completed, the <F E A R> or <R E P O> member will be immediately recruited into <Darksiders> by the aforementioned Recruiter or Officer

***NEW OFFICER ROLES***


**Each Officer will be assessed to fit into one of these specializations in order to not only facilitate the guild but to ensure that the Officers have an opportunity to grow and use thier strengths to the fullest!

Ambassador: Officers in this capacity will focus on interaction with our Recruiting Guild FEAR and REPO in order to help along the Ascendance Process as well as develop new strategies to work with other guilds.

Herald: Officers in this capacity will focus on ensuring that all new members are educated on how and where to find our Forum thread and Facebook group. These officers will also ensure to have staggered meetings throughout the week to help make sure all members are sufficiently informed on news, updates and any contests happening.

Inquisitor: Officers in this capacity will focus on ensuring that any and all new players are immediately catered to and ensure that early elites from Brackenridge, Ydra Forest and Dead City are completed almost as soon as they join the guild.

Beastmaster: Officers in this capactity will focus on farming Pets to help members achieve their Pet AP. These officers are responsible for coordinating the "egg games" for the guild.

Myrmidon: Officers in this capacity will focus on PvP. These officers will be tasked with moderating any PvP events as well as motivating players to PvP on a regular basis.

Steward: Officers in this capacity will assist all Officer types. It is expected that Officers in this role will fufill the duties of the other Officers types in thier absence.

I have no doubt that recruiters know this....but be aware that the person your recruiting is technically your responsibility. I think it's important that recruiters personally should go over the rules about the guild either personally or within guild chat....(Besides our two rules in which we state in guild chat). This mostly applies to new recruites below level 15. (Since they are new to the game). Some people don't even try to do guild chat or take part in guild activities, meetings, etc. So, Recruiters, take a few seconds to go over our rules if they do not understand :)

The guild needs more members to be recruited. Though elite runs are very important to the activities of the guild, those runs cannot commence without members willing to do runs. When doing runs, try to use guild members if possible.

First of all, it's important to recruit but representation is equally as important.

For the next few days, officers, recruiters and even members who want to take part. Assemble parties for RECRUITING instead of elite runs a few times during the day. Some areas where abundant lvl 30-31 "roam", could be the Stronghold, Kragg, or even Travelers Outpost. Also guild castle areas. Show'em that our guild means business, honor, helpfulness, honesty, and powerful allies. Be persuasive.

As Oedid said wisely: "your an officer, your a leader, take initiative and start recruiting".

Hey everyone. I don't know if you saw but we were #54 this past week on the top guilds. Only 4 more spots to climb to make the list. Let's keep adding quality members and gaining those achievement points and we may make the official top 50 list next week.

As Amythys had confirmed, we have jumped to #54 on the top guild list (Thank you for finding that out Amy!).

If we increase our numbers and elite runs to improve our AP (Acheivment Points), we'll surely catch up 4 more ranks! Effort!!!!!

Elite Runs are in session! As well as recruiting! This applies to level 30 members as well. If you see someone guildless, talk to them about our rules and refer to an officer for an invite! Search the Strongholds, leveling runs, etc. Tap on their character to make sure if they don't have a guild!

Also, regardless of what position your in, a friendly and quick "Welcome" from all members would be nice if a person comes into our guild. Sadly, I take time to recruit, and only one or two says "Welcome". Eventually that person leaves. (This does not apply to all personal. And no offense, but I'm just putting it out there).

Also! 600+ veiws on my guild trailer, and PMs are flying into my inbox to invite.

Vxy/SoundlessKill, Albhuntrack, Etc, and many famous people has asked about the Darksiders also :)

This was a great moment in DS history when we pulled together as an 8 man group to defeat Trulle the Troll in Team Death Match!
With tireless efforts (and over an hour of game play ;) ) we battled and defeated the great Troll earning ourselves a new title for everyone involved!

At a time when many are sleeping 4 Darksiders came together to siege the hideout of the infamous Elite Captain Bloodhammer. In an epic struggle, our tired and elated would be heroes pushed through the mobs of pirates and confronted the evil menace of the Kraken Seas. Bananaypico, Cedricknel and Bluewiizard lead by Master Oedid defeated the beast with all manner of methods and became victorious as "The Hammers" of Arlor!

It was late, we were tired. Yet despite our disadvantages, we pulled through as a team.

Hey guys, I have one more table to help analyze our debut in the top 50 guilds list this week. Our focus has been Achievement Points (AP), which is the requirement to make the list in the first place. That is still probably the best area for us to focus on (in addition to staying active of course!). There are 15 total categories and our ranking across those 15 categories is averaged to find our place in the list. As you can see, the top ranked guild averaged 5.7 across all 15 categories, while we averaged 14.5. This table shows the values for each ranking 1,2,3,5,10,15,20,25 and 30 in each of the 15 categories. Have fun comparing your character stats to those in this table. Oh, and as stated by H2N in the Top 50 Guild Ranking (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?111567-Arcane-Legends-Top-50-Guild-Ranking-August-14-2013)post, negative K/D or C/D ratios indicate D/K or D/C.

We improved our total achievement points by 199550 and climbed two places in that statistic. Also improved were PVE kills and kills/member and CTF K/D and kills/member. We were outdone on activity by the newly ranked guild Team Philippines, but we continue our place as one of the most active guilds.
