Well just opened another 60, for those of you that know that's now a total of 531 grand lock crates ive opened.... not 1 mythic, not 1 arcane, nor 1 mccraw, not anything but garbage..I have another 51 to open. ...sts, . these will be my last unless I actually get something. ..my 2.5k I've spent on this game will cease no more :/ guess we will see how badly you want to keep this big spender. I'll still enjoy the game plat free .I know you guys pay salaries, and need money for content. Guess you'll miss out on another 2.5 k I would have spent in the next few months. ...isnt some ultimatum, just stating facts that im stopping, after the crates that are currently in my inv, are opened unless i see some sort of fruit of my labor. .....good day :)

Yeah didn't realize I spent that much cause it does little to my budget that I never noticed, until I looked how much platinum ive spent 43000. Toi date... with zero thanks, appreciation, or love from sts....I own a very profitable company and I keep my vip customer base with certain perks...I get nothing here. ..so in will spend it elsewhere if not appreciated. ..its like asking for a supervisor to work with you, and they just hang up on you. ...

Ouch. I feel you buddy. Sort of same situation here. I also can't believe that you can actually spend 10,000 or more platinum opening these crates to get junk only.
It's really sad that these crates actually make you waste tons of real money. If these crates weren't there, the game would be simply perfect.
Locked grand crates are our enemies. That is all.

I gave up on it, since its tied to getting lucky, and that is just one of those things that just don't happen to me, if I didn't stop around a couple hundred plat I would be in your position. $2500 is a really nice TV or a used car, heck that's almost an ounce and a half of 24k gold and the list goes on and on.
Sorry STS but you're not offering the cure to cancer here, it's a game. And when it's gone everything you're selling to people is going with it.

At least with baseball cards, you can keep them your whole life and pass them down to your children. That's not likely to happen in a game.

I get your point, but I guess Darko really found opening the crates more of a thrill as he can possibly loot an arcane/mythic item within the first to a couple of tries. If he knew he'd suffer this fate, I'm pretty sure he would've converted them to gold haha.

To the OP, I suggest you register a new email addy and make a new character who ONLY wears dropped items. He or she will have only one pet, the starting pet, and only use elixirs that are gifts from allies. Turn off accepting gifts, too, so people don't give you non-white items. Level this character to the cap, not worrying about the number of deaths. Never plat rev this character. It is a "mendicant" and the purpose is to see the game from the point of view of a child... that is, a child who has no money. I believe it will give you a new joy and a greater appreciation for the finer parts of the game.

But on behalf of all the other players, I want to thank you for your generous donation of $2,500 to the devs. They do make nice fun games and it's great that some are helping to pay them. I have only contributed about 10% of what you have, but we're all doing what we can. Thanks!

STS does little things from time to time to reward plat spenders. But what they don't do is change the odds of getting a good drop for high plat spenders. All crates are only opened by those who spend plat, since you need 15 plat to open. And the odds are the same for each crate whether you open one crate or 500. From time to time STS does do some giveaways to their big plat spenders. I remember in PL they gave angel armor.

You make it hard NOT to agree with this point. I do remeber the day when I was SOOO happy that my toon had all purple gear. Made you feel like you did something. When I got fed up with opening hundreds of GWC I just stopped opening them and stepped my gold game up. Rather save and buy exactly what I want then open anymore.

Good luck getting to cap with all whites. Yea the runs are free, but if you cant merch no way your going to have good gear with the gold drops or regular chest drops. Theres lots of other things that basically require plat, but its hidden. The supporters of this gambling method to getting real money don't see the fact because you peeps probally 500k+ just in gold
