this will be fixed in the next client update, for now if you are not seeing the buy button you will need to completely exit out of AL and then restart the app. Thanks!

Nope... Exited and re launched 3 times now. STILL no Buy button.

Guessing you are on iSomething. Exiting only sleeps, there is a way to restart it, but the easiest it to explain is just restart your device.

Rebooting my device (Galaxy S3) resolved the issue as well.
u lost really a lot of potential buyers. Me and my rogues friends wanted to buy Slag after u said he will be +30Int, but now we dont... And im sure there is more rogues like me and my friends.

I am experiencing very odd visual and UI bugs, after the Slag update.
The warrior's windmill skill is a swirling cloud of wispy black shadowy stuff, instead of the normal orangy yellow glow. The sorcerror's fireball is super pixleated and bright green, and it looks like something from minecraft lol!
My rouge is having this weird bug where my Heart seekers have been striped of their original texture, and they are solid blue/green. It appears that the texture is whirling around them, it looks like a weird first demon is in my hands.
Should I uninstall it?
I already tried force closing, that didn't do anything.

So, I caved in and bought me the pet.
As a Dmg focused rogue, you'll definitely loose a bit of survivability (HP) and a tiny bit of mana and dmg/dps in your stats screen. The good news is that the 12% dmg increase is definitely noticable, the increased walk speed is nice too.
So far, the arcane ability looks like dealing a fair amount of AOE dmg and has a chance to stun even bosses (much like clyde). I haven't leveled it up far enough yet to see what it can really do. The downside is the fairly long cooldown time of the ability.
All in all I had prefered a bit more str mainly, but it's not so bad that you'll suddenly die a lot during elite runs as compared to running with malison.
It's a nice pet with cool looks and can definitely help speed up farming runs, without sacrificing too much practical survivability (as compared to mali). Is it worth 250plat? That's for each individual to decide.
There are similar statted pets purchasable with gold, giving non-plat buyers equally worthy alternatives, and maybe that wasn't such a bad move after all.

I haven't noticed his arcane ability doing any damage (or really anything), the rest is pretty ok. I would like to see him have a little more stats, maybe 5 more (or 3, why are they always multiples of 5?) in each stat to really make him worth the cost.
The movement is a nice bonus (useful for sorcs that need to kite). I'll have to check is arcane again after I level him a little more (at lvl 15 now).

They probably gained more buyers with this change as this can be used by warriors, mages, and some rouges.... the previous build was only for rouge, not One warrior would buy a dex pet.... but this has str, dex , and int, making it more versitile for all classes.... again smart business decision. .. (and I don't agree with sll their business decisions like not taking care of high spenders...

Should make available for gold purchase also pls costing too much! Dont even try out most of stuff that cost plat in game.
