It won't let me complete the Easter quest?

Is there something I'm missing, the quest says once you have 13 ears talk to the guy, but when I do it tells me to look for more ears. Anyone else have this problem?

Make sure u got all the ears. I think you forgot the bone,icy and flame ones. Just keep on waving in towns esp FH.

I can't seem to get any ears. I got the quest and the first set of ears, and waving like crazy at people who have different ones and they're not giving them to me. Forever alone.

Make sure there are all 13 2013 ears. Make a list and write down all of the colors you have and still need. That's what I did and trust me...it help!:)

The ears this year are same from 2011. Exact same. So like if you wave at someone with 2011 ears it won't give you the ears even though it looks the exact same. That's the only reason I can think about why you won't get the ears. Usually this would happen with Bone, Icy and flame because more people has those ears from 2011.

I tested it with a buddy who's definitely using 2013 ears. I wave, and nothing. Bug?

I made a list on paper.
Write all colors then cross them out as you go

It's a bug, I was waving as crazy at forest haven at 8+ people with different colors and didn't got any.

I switched to another toon and it worked, was able to get the ears. Not sure what's going on with my main though. He's too proud to accept handouts apparently.
