Hey guys, Skull here and today I will be doing my first Arcane Legends Guide! :applause: "Yay!" Lol.
This guide will focus on farming for mainly new players and a bit for higher levels. Enjoy! :)
BASIC INFORMATION
What's farming you may be wondering right now? Well farming is the process of repeating the same map until you get a valuable drop. How do I farm? Well, it's simple, just find a good group to do fast runs and repetitive runs.
Is there any tips on how to farm fast? Yep, here are some...1)Skip the small group of mobs. In most maps there will be a small section of mobs, if you're farming I highly recommend you skip these. 2)Buy the 25% luck elixer ( its only 2 platinum! )
This is just simple farming, we will go into the hardcore farming process a bit later in this guide.
FARMING LOCATIONS:
After reading about the farming process and how it could make you millions of gold coins you may be wondering where do I farm? Well, here's the answer to your question!:
Brackenridge
-Gold Mine: The boss at the end has a small chance at dropping "Aspen". A pet which can be sold for the average price of 10k.
Ydra Forest
-Rooks' Hideout: The spider at the end has a chance of dropping "Ribbit". A pet which can be sold for the average price of 15k.
Since this is mainly a beginner's guide to farming, I will have to sadly stop here, although I may make a guide to end-game farming in the future once I have gathered much more information.
While farming/leveling up your character be sure to do the quests given by animals, as these quests can give you tons of pets.
HARDCORE FARMING FOR BEGINNERS
This is just some extra tips if you want to farm hardcore for levels under 20.
1)Auction slots - I recommend you buy 5 more auction slots for 40 platinum if you can't spare much so you can sell your items quicker, or if you have tons of extra cash buy 10 auction slots for 75 platinum ( I only recommend this for end-game players mainly ) Or just buy the 70 platinum bundle pack in the store plus some cool items!
2)Luck elixers - Buy 1 of these every 15 minutes for just 2 platinum for a better chance at getting more valuable items!
In this guide I mainly listed the drop-able pets at low levels, although there are many more this is just a beginner's guide to farming, if you would like to farm more pets, go to the stable and look at the pet's description, for example:
Rocky: There is a lost Ram located in the Gold Mine. Help him out to acquire this pet. <--- This is the pet description for Rocky, it tells you where he is located. Very helpful for finding out where some pets are dropped! :)

CHESTS
Now, if you are new to the game you may be wondering...what are chests?! Well...chests are basically a random chance at getting valuable items for a cheaper price ( unless you open tons of chests and end up with nothing, which is possible.) There are many different types of chests in AL. Here is a list consisting of the chest name, description, possible items, and average sale price.
Copper Chest - A common chest, best colored item is purple - 100 gold.
Silver Chest - A common chest, very small chance at pink items - 200 gold.
Golden Chest - An un-common chest, good chance at pink items - 750 gold.
Locked Grand Crate Of The Watch - A rare chest that costs 15 platinum to open - 3k. When opened you will get 2 epic items and 1 legendary, mythic, or even an arcane item!
Copper Pirate Chest - a common chest, extremely small chance at pinks- 350 gold.
Silver Pirate Chest - a common chest, small chance at pink items - 2k ( 2000 ) gold.
Elite Copper Pirate Chest - found in elite maps, common. small chance at pinks - 2500 gold.
Golden Pirate Chest - found in the Kraken Isles, good chance at pinks - 6k ( 6000 ) gold.
Elite Silver Pirate Chest - found in elite maps, un-common, good chance at pink items - 10k ( 10000 ) gold.
Elite Golden Pirate Chest - found in elite maps, rare, very good chance at pink items - 60k ( 60000 ) gold.
Warning: These prices were the average prices of the chests at April 1, 2013. Prices may vary in the future.
As you can see...elite chests found in elite maps are much more than regular chests. The pirate chests are found in the Kraken Isles ( not the elite map ).
Remember, opening a chest is a gamble...you never know if you get a glacian from a locked grand crate of the watch or just some 5k pink items. It's completely random! Although, if you get a copper/silver chest for low levels I recommend opening them unless you sell to a friend, don't sell them in auction as they are too low of a price ( you only make about 80 gold due to the listing commission ) Silver chests have a small chance at pink items but I recommend you open them as they are only about 200 gold.
Always sell golden chests at low levels unless you are feeling VERY lucky because golden chests can sell for about 800 gold if you get lucky which can help low levels a lot. Remember to support STS buy buying some locked grand crates of the watch and who knows...you might get a Glacian egg! Goodluck on opening those chests and remember, copper chests have a 73.94% chance at getting a Glacian egg! - APRIL FOOLS!!!!!! :D
P.S: The chests are color-coded meaning...
White/regular color = common
Green color = uncommon
Purple color = Rare
Pink/red = Super Rare/ Legendary
