Originally setup as a kickstarter, the OUYA was set out to be a $99 Android gaming console and received over 8.5 million dollars from backers (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ouya/ouya-a-new-kind-of-video-game-console), now in production some early backers have received theirs and is available for pre-order for everyone else.

Arcane Legends on my 7" Nook Tablet is pretty good but could really do with the more ergonomic design of a joypad, the OUYA looks like it will be an ideal device for playing AL on with the joypad, especially if you have a big tv or projector.

Will AL be 'ported' to the OUYA? Because as it stands the console doesn't have Google Play so you won't be able to download it from there.

There were already several threads about this in the past, like the one pasted below...

Devs haven't really given any feedback about it yet though.

Release date is posted on the site as June 4, what the release date here in the UK is I don't know but I do know one store will be selling it at £99 which is a complete con as $99 is roughly £66, we always get mugged on USD to GBP exchange rates in terms of goods sold in shops.

Things weren't made special for us brits, USD is worth less than the GBP. This also means that people in the US averagely get more salaries. Economy is like that.

Not to mention shipping costs, import taxes, VAT, etc that can all jack up the price.

On the topic, I already play with a controller, xbox controller on my laptop.
