Lvl 10-14 twinks

Hi AL players!
I've been playing AL for a while and have newly been introduced to PvP. My question to you are: I want to make a twink lvl 10-14 and i wonder if the pet that you use should be the same lvl as yourself or can it be lvl 1?
I am sorry if it is hard to read, as english is my second language.
Any answers are welcome!

make it lvl 1 since feeding it is only 25 gold...

if u.make ur pet lvl 1 its cheaper.x). But if u level.it up .the pet will help u to fight.cause it also increase damage.when u lvl it up .

Each lvl gained. Your pet will have increase in dmg aswll as upgrades of active/passive skill depending of the pet.

Level 1 pet is useless.
