Rogue Pets and good builds?

Just wondering what the best rogue pet would be for different circumstances. I know there is not only one good pet depending on your skills and such. So let me just say, my skills now are Shadow Piercer 4/5. Noxious Bolt 2/5 (which I will probably switch to aimed shot),Shadow Veil 2/5(does this help at a higher level? Doesn't seem to do much now) and Combat medic 1/5.
Right now I'm just looking for pve builds but am also interested in what people do for pvp builds. Also different pets for the different builds. I can easily see myself respeccing back and forth for a couple weeks at a time. IE respec and do nothing but pvp for a week or 2, then switch back to pve.

I currently have access to McCraw, Ribbit, Horton, Frost (bought by accident lol). Please don't say Glacian, I don't have 9mil to blow.:shame:

malison is a great general use pet for pve and pvp

Horton, Granite, Meep Moop and Malison are great pets for rogues. They give you a good amount of DEX :)
