this would be helpful if you needed an item and a friend on your list might have it. instead of asking one by one, just send one messed :) it could be like a /command or something

I know some people are gonna say this could be easily abused. All the text might get annoying as well, having ''B> Bla bla" popping up on your screen when you are trying to level.
Perhaps if the chatbox is enhanced there could be a channel where friends can read what eachother is saying no matter where they are.

I fully agree with an enhanced Chatbox. Have game wide chat channel, friend channel and map channel. Would really enhance the game.
