two shield vanity unable to get ring

mjolstin mentioned that I should post my issue here so here it is.

I have a bird that was level 75 (now level 76). I was able to cap once during the Nuri expansion and was able to receive the Shield of Hallows. I have the Eye of Eternity now as well, which is another shield. I was really excited to know that if I have capped twice, I am going to be able to receive the Ring of Valiance. Upon learning that I needed to equip vanities, I felt distraught that I would not be able to receive the ring due to having two vanity shields even though I have capped twice. I feel that it was a futile effort for me to play and try to cap and not be able to receive the ring, and that it is better to just wait until the next expansion to try and cap it. I then read a forum saying that support was able to help someone with a similar situation I had and that gave me hope, so I proceeded to email support to ask for help.

This is an unfortunate side effect of the way it was implemented. Since you have to be able to wear 2 (or 3) vanities at the same time to get the ring reward, you're pretty much stuck. I don't foresee STS doing anything to help you, unfortunately. You have just about the only pair that doesn't result in any award.

I would suggest sending an email to support@spacetimestudios.com and work something out, so you could receive your reward in-game. I hope this helps.

Ps. I just realized this is also the problem for the two other vanity helms from Sewers cap and Humania cap and maybe even for the Mount Fang Armor, if this next expansion has a vanity armor as its elite vanity for capping. Which is most likely the case.

If you contact support they will probably just add the ring into your inventory, if you cap next time you will need to repeat and ask for 3-piece ring.
