Thinking of make an alt

Currently a warrior...
which class would you recommend for an alt?
Mage or rouge? I'm leaning more towards the mage cuz they look awesome and theyre stuff is cheap :3

Well, rogue runs outta mana verry easily. Sorcerer, which is my main, is kinda underpowered. Choose, a very fast killer but runs outta mana quickly, or decent dmg AoE attacks, DoT, and stun attacks.

My warr is a main, I have x2 rogues and just started a sorc...with expansion coming I recommend sorc since rogues are not cheap. With the sorc, by the time you max back out your main...sorc gear will be 150k while rogue/warr will be 500k-1m.

Typically with MMOs, the most underpowered eventually becomed the most powerful. Choose sorc.

My main is a warrior, and I was in the same situation as you. I went for mage because I thought their AoE skills looked awesome, and I had always wanted to try them. It was a great decision because the skills are phenomenal because I can effortlessly control mobs using AoE attacks such as timeshift, fireball, and frost. A good mage can make a huge difference in a party. I also made a rogue after I leveled my mage to L 25, and I have to say that mages really do benefit parties especially with their mana heal and crowd control abilities. They seem to make every map go faster especially watcher tombs. The big disappointment with my rogue is that it goes through mana so fast and have to use tons of mana potions if I wanna keep using my skills and to stay alive without having to wait for my mana to regenerate or spamming health potions. If I were to choose, I would pick mage.
