AL shows I am online when I am offline

Here is a screenshot where my character "Wowsome" shows up as online when it is not. When I try to invite it to party, I get the message "unable to find player".

What could be the reason? Anybody observed something similar before?

I've seen it do that with other people on my FL too. I see them on, send them a pm, and get the "Character not found" in the chat window.
