I have been noticing a lot of people telling other players not to open any treasure chests while doing any Elite maps due to lower drop rates. Was wondering how many people think this? Is it proven? Dev's maybe you could clarify?

Isn't there a tip now in menu that says chest don't effect drop rate?

When they say that i open intentionally otherwise i leave em ussually cause im lazy
There is a thread posted by samhayne saying it's false.
Honestly haven't heard it since last season.

I have been playing for a while and chest open or closed means nothing!!!
Just superstitious people hoping to get better drops.

What did you people get from elite golden pirate chests?

there was one time I opened one elite golden pirate chest and only received 3 epics :( that's why I sell it everytime I can loot it, I dont gamble much :)
