The People:

Average Joes is a new guild in Arcane Legends seeking mature members. This guild was formed by a handful of friends who are looking to build a place for like-minded players to get together and have fun! Average Joe's primary focus is Elite PVE content. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but still perform well!

The Mood:

The atmosphere is very laid back, and having a good sense of humor is a must. While we like to joke around and socialize with each other, performance is critical. Guild chat is filled with positive, friendly conversation and everyone is respectful of one another.

This guild is run by its officers, each with equal authority. Yes there is a GM, but the GM will not be the single authority in the guild. The direction of the guild and recruiting practices will be joint decisions amongst the officers.

The Motive:

We are selective with who we invite to join us so we can ensure the guild is cohesive. We aren’t looking to become the largest guild in the game, we are just looking to get enough skilled, like minded, mature members to be able to do Elite content whenever we want, without having to wait around for friends to sign on or suffer through PUGing elite dungeons.

We are specifically looking for people we get along with, who are also skilled in the game and can play their class at a reasonably high level. If you are interested in becoming part of this tight knit, friendly guild full of nothing but great players, please send a pm either on the forums or in game to one of our officers. If we don't know you, lets change that.

The Yays:

- Positivity: You don't have to be Suzy Sunshine but don't be Negative Nancy. Something in the middle! If you're not Chatty Cathy, that's okay, too :)
- Knowledge: If you have knowledge about the game or your class that you'd like to share with your guild mates, you'll be a great fit!

The Nays:

- Begging: This includes includes hinting about needing gold.
- Spamming: Guild chat should be enjoyable, not make guildies want to gouge their eyes out.
- Gouging fellow Joes: You don’t have to give everyone in the guild deep discounts on items. Each member is free to pursue their own fortune, but do not rip off your guild mates.
- Elitism: If you want to brag all day in guild chat about your KD or how you can 1v1 anyone in world and pwn their faces, not interested (unless its funny).
- Being a jerk: Don't be a White Goodman.

We take a careful approach to who we invite. We are about quality not quantity. We are not elitist by any means. We just want everyone that joins to enjoy and not have to worry about drama (at least not bad drama). If I see you in game (Anymove? Anymore?) I'll send you a FR.

Besides, the awesome party system we have in AL really makes it easy to meet and play with new people. Don't you think?

The People:

Average Joes is a new guild in Arcane Legends seeking mature members. This guild was formed by a handful of friends who are looking to build a place for like-minded players to get together and have fun! Average Joe's primary focus is Elite PVE content. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but still perform well!

The Mood:

The atmosphere is very laid back, and having a good sense of humor is a must. While we like to joke around and socialize with each other, performance is critical. Guild chat is filled with positive, friendly conversation and everyone is respectful of one another.

This guild is run by its officers, each with equal authority. Yes there is a GM, but the GM will not be the single authority in the guild. The direction of the guild and recruiting practices will be joint decisions amongst the founding officers. As such we are only planning on having a handful of officers at first and no “recruiters”.

The Motive:

We are selective with who we invite to join us so we can ensure the guild is cohesive. We aren’t looking to become the largest guild in the game, we are just looking to get enough skilled, like minded, mature members to be able to do Elite content whenever we want, without having to wait around for friends to sign on or suffer through PUGing elite dungeons.

We are specifically looking for people we get along with, who are also skilled in the game and can play their class at a reasonably high level. If you are interested in becoming part of this tight knit, friendly guild full of nothing but great players, please send a pm either on the forums or in game to one of our officers. If we don't know you, lets change that.

The Yays:

- Positivity: You don't have to be Suzy Sunshine but don't be Negative Nancy. Something in the middle! If you're not Chatty Cathy, that's okay, too :)
- Knowledge: If you have knowledge about the game or your class that you'd like to share with your guild mates, you'll be a great fit!

The Nays:

- Begging: This includes includes hinting about needing gold.
- Spamming: Guild chat should be enjoyable, not make guildies want to gouge their eyes out.
- Gouging fellow Joes: You don’t have to give everyone in the guild deep discounts on items. Each member is free to pursue their own fortune, but do not rip off your guild mates.
- Elitism: If you want to brag all day in guild chat about your KD or how you can 1v1 anyone in world and pwn their faces, not interested (unless its funny).
- Being a jerk: Don't be a White Goodman.

I posted in general discussion about having some older players to run with, and Aedenos recommended I check out this thread.
Well, I'm very interested in joining.

My name is actually Joe, believe it or not, so there's a good start!
I've been playing Pocket Legends for a few years, and began playing AL since day one.
However after capping the original 16 cap, work and life got in the way and I hadn't much time to play.

Started up playing again last week, and am keen to make elite soon, I am likely to wait until the next cap to do this though.
I have a sorcerer, Rydym, at 18, this was my original character, I know my role and think I play pretty well when possible.
Then 2 days ago I started a Warrior, Awesometank who's presently at 15, this is likely the character ill play most and focus towards attaining caps.

I'm a pretty laid back guy, I'm 23, and from New Zealand.

Hopefully this gives some insight into myself. :encouragement:
