prices of wrath and snaggletooth so high now?

i see now they are worth a lot much more than what it was when i bought them months ago, it was like 5k each when i bought them...

I want to get more now since i have more characters but i cant afford it!

Can someone tell me why the price have been adjusted? did the game change something?

Because of the expansion of kraken isles, players don't usually hunt in the dead city elite places (where the pets can be found) , there are but only a few.
So, low in supply of pets ( because few players are hunting them) the higher in demand( price goes up).

I agree.Last time,the price was 5k,I taught that the price will decrease so I did not buy any.I regret it.

Expect the kettle too or any pets that can be found on elite areas. im sure the mobs and bosses will become more stronger and tougher on next expansion

Good old days when every jarl run gave and an egg (almost). I had over 30 of those eggs and some of them I gave them for free at that days :( and now they really worth ! It sucks but that's (online) life :p

Supply and demand. That and farming since they were under 10k has become a lot harder. Next expansion they will.either stay the same or shot is ganna get crazier and youll see prices skyrocket.

I don't know about Snaggle, but I understand Wrathjaw. As the level caps raise "%" pets are going to become more sought after. There is thread explaining how pets that grant a % boost will soon out preform pets that grant set stats...i.e will cost a lot more.

I used to give them away like candy just to free up inventory space. Also on occasion, people would randomly gift them to me in Kraag and I would complain in guild chat haha.

Now my new mage needs one. Hindsight is 20/20.

Yes! Arrrrgghhh!

I left for a month-long vacation in February. When I left, Wrath/Snaggle were about 6k and 9k respectively, Mali was 100-130k and Kettle was around 70k. Now? Arrrrghhhh!

Wrathjaw and Snaggletooth weren't originally supposed to have such high drop rates. And at the time, most of them were dropping from Elite Jarl, one of the hot spots to farm elites. Essentially, their drop rate was a bug so it was adjusted. However, it took a few weeks for the drop rates to be adjusted for some reason (I think STS was on vacation?). So now they're adjusted and are pretty expensive especially considered that they each used to be less than 10k

They're good for warriors and rogues both pvp and pve.

Well they contribute to 'Demon Dogs' achievement and they are good in PvE and PvP actually.
