And how do you think? Is it interesting to play for me? If i only see green items droping from all bosses and just spending gold in buying pots... Its just getting so boring.

If you lvl up quickly, prices are a lot higher after expansions
If you are not selling but opening chests, you wont make that much money
If you are spending plat, you are gambling, don't get annoyed :)

Farm early after the expansion. Sell everything, don't open chests! rerolls help you turn a purple drop into pink making rerolls most useful at bosses that drop expensive loot (bael with malions, windmoore harbor with flintlocks or cove with firesquid rod)

Why open the elite chests? I sell. My luck has been down a bit but I've been able to maintain the same amount of gold I made from the few good drops I have gotten. Namely, I sell my chests and crates. I don't gamble that there will be something good in them.

Do you have extra slots for merching? If you sell 10 things a day for 1,000 gold each you'll be making 10K a day. And that's just if you're selling junk drops. If you start watching the market you can find good deals. The other day I picked up something that normally sells for like 25K for 7K, turned around and sold it. I made a profit.

If you gamble, you will be disappointed. I'm sorry. I know it's frustrating but at least it's a lesson you're learning here rather than in Vegas, right?

I don't understand what you mean by, "I really disrespect that". When you gamble in a game, using real money, the most similar, well known place (around here)) people gamble is Vegas. It makes sense to draw upon Vegas as an example of losing money due to gambling and then compare it to losing real money here.

Unfortunately, it really is kind of like a casino with regard to paying to win or lose. It's not the most savory of things but it is what it is. You don't HAVE to gamble but it really is hard to resist. Even I, cheapest person on the planet, have opened crates lol

I don't think u r getting it. My money is only from quests and liquidations, of greens and below, I might add. I haven't sold a single thing. (I put my first 2 items in CS the other day and they haven't sold) There is no luck or gambling really when it comes to liquidating items.

If you have been farming for months. You would have more than 200k just from liquidating.

I haven't played elite maps or even made it past Dead City. I am assuming, if AL is like PL, the loot has a higher gold value in the higher maps.

I stick with my agreement of the post saying this thread is BS.

Think if you had three toon accounts and about 2 months, thats 3 Coltons sold for a conservative 200k each. There's your 600k GUARANTEED! and that's just spending 15 min a day. No farming involved.

I've been playing AL far far too much recently, I should be selling real things on eBay for real money instead of virtual things in the CS for virtual money :D

Anyway I've managed to get over 800k during the last couple of months from doing daily quests and solo farming the real easy levels that don't require you to spam potions like they're M&M's. Yesterday I got a locked crate from normal Brackenridge-Aqueducts and I wasn't using a luck elixir and it wasn't from the boss so a lot of the time it's about luck, playing for pinks to sell, and not needlessly spending gold on potions and feeding your pets (keep rotating them).

I find that copper chests are almost as likely to give you pink items as silver chests, and I sell the gold chests on the market. I think the best pink I got from a chest was from a copper pirate one which netted me 20k.
