Exclamation Mark (!) above chars during or after battle

So, I looked at the guide and I breezed through the forum.

What are the ! marks above characters that sometimes happens during or after battle. I notice they were color coded for the party members (or maybe class). Mine is always red as a warrior.

Just curious what it means and if it is good or bad for my char at that moment. :)

Unless this is a signal that a combo was done with another player.

If you're mean over the heads of enemies, that is a visual indication that they have noticed a player to attack (we call it the ai target acquired notification).

If you're in towne, one of the emotes is multi-colored exclamation points.

I have had a red exclamation mark over my warrior char right after battle and no mobs are around. I have also seen yellow and green ones above other characters in the same situation. There is also a red glow beneath my feet when this happens.

This was in an instance though, not towne.

The warrior skill: Rage has an animating exclamation mark indicator over your head. If your character has one you are most likely a warrior who has fired off their rage buff.
