PVE kill and death count with XP gain disabled

Can we make the PVE kill count move/register even though XP gain is disabled? I've been keeping low levels below the max cap, I don't do much pvp, but mostly I do farm dungeons. It's quite unfair, that everytime I die, it registers in my stat page but when I kill mobs it does not register. I just want it to register everytime I kill a mob, to monitor my progress.
